I stood in front of my mirror, doing a full 360 whilst staring at myself and in how I looked in my current outfit. It was currently 17:00pm on the dot; exactly 3 hours until Gracie's Summer Bash Party and I'd decided on going with a floral tank top with Vanessa's mini white skirt, mixed with some gold jewellery and my hair styled half up, half down with a simple clip.
I swiftly took the Swiftie locket Brady had gotten me for my birthday, placing it on and smiling to myself as I stared at how it looked in the mirror.
I was about to grab my white Adidas sneakers to match with my outfit when a knock on my door filled the air. "Come in!" I yelled as I continued to wear my shoes as my door opened.
"You look beautiful." I looked up to see Dad emerge into the room, his hands shoved into his pockets and a tired look on face, despite his smile attempting to conceal it.
