BangtanBabyMochi Presents:
Jungkook's eyes light up at the sight of his phone screen illuminating with notifications. He rolls over to his desk and picks up the coveted rectangle, bunny smile appearing once he sees who the notifications are from as soon as the phone recognizes him via Face ID.His dearest reader.
The brunet opens Wattpad with bated breath, giggling joyously to himself with every letter the person so graciously typed out. Their comments are so cute and bubbly, but highly perceptive and detailed when need be. Nothing goes ignored by this reader. Every effort to foreshadow will be brought up at the moment of revelation, the reader appreciating all the effort the young male puts into his craft. This reader makes Jungkook feel intelligent in ways his aunt never could.
Despite her being the one to do everything for him, including homeschool, the woman has always treated her nephew like he is made of glass and paper, the lightest breeze capable of knocking him down. Thoughtful is not an adjective she would ever use to describe Jungkook. It is always along the lines of fragile, frail, and pitiful.
Oh, the poor baby, she tells anyone who will listen. The doctors only give him until twenty-one, and you know, he is already nineteen.
But with this reader, Jungkook feels capable, smart, and valuable. This reader showed up at the start of Jungkook's time on Wattpad and has been following him religiously. Why they do this, he has no idea. Surely, there must be better, bigger authors to read versus the small account that belongs to him, the males thinks.
They make him feel special.
And not in the way his aunt does. There are no looks with a pouty bottom lip. There is no telling him what he can't do. There is no impending sense of doom looming over their interactions. While Jungkook's aunt says the fact he is still alive is a miracle, the reader says the fact that they exist at all is the miracle. There is a clear, defined difference. And, oh,
does it make Jungkook feel loved.
Author's Note: Hello, all! Welcome to Another Rapunzel Story. This is a modern retelling of the story, but mostly based on the film, Tangled. Whether or not it will be noticeable, I have no idea. But I hope you all stick around and see what this book has to offer. I'm excited to show you.
What do you think of the story so far?
Make sure to take care and love yourself as best as you can.
With lots of love,
