prompt: neil proposing to his girlfriend

-neil has an adoration for all things big and dramatic as seen by his love of acting however when it comes to something this big and this important, i feel like he'd take a different approach

-he would still go all out with decorations, such as covering the room in flower petals, candles and pictures of the two of you

-he would make sure he's dressed up in his nicest outfit and he would be so stressed, even more stressed than he was for his first performance

-however it would just be the two of you in the room, there would be no proposing in front of a big crowd or in front of friends and family, he would want this to be as intimate and private as possible 

-he would invite you over, not hinting at anything, just telling you that you guys were having a quiet night in

-however when you get there, you're shocked at the decorations and think that maybe you had forgotten an anniversary or important date of some kind

-neil appears and begins pouring out his heart, he had tried to write poems and letters to read but ultimately decided that if he was going to do it right, he had to do it on the spot and directly from his heart

-he pulls you close and whispers all the things he can, telling you how deeply he loves you and that his soul will always find yours, in this life and the next and the ones after that

-he begins to tear up, unable to hold back how much you mean to him and how thankful he is to have someone so supportive and kind in his life especially because of his home life

-as he finishes divulging every romantic and sappy thought he has about you, he bends down on one knee and pulls out a velvet box and opens it to reveal a delicate, yet beautiful ring, and before you are able to answer he says "let me show you how much you mean to me, everyday for the rest of my life"
