a few hours later all of us besides jay sat in the girls and i's room and i sat on the floor with carlos as the campus dog dude sat in my lap

i was surprised ben got carlos to like dogs at there practice earlier today but while we all just hung out jay walked in with his new jersey looking proud of himself and we all smiled

"Nice jersey." i said as we all complimented him and he thanked us before turning to jane "Did your plan work with Jane? Are you going over to see the wand?" he asked her

"Do you think that I would be going through every single spell in this book. If I hadn't completely struck out?" mal asked irritated looking up from her book

"Oh, someone's in a bad mood." carlos joked "My mom's counting on me! I can't let her down!" she said flicking carlos's head

"We can do this... If we stick together." jay told us seriously and mal agreed "And we won't go back until we do. Because we're rotten..." she trailed off and we all looked to each other "To the core."

"Oh, yeah. I found out that fairy godmother blesses Ben with the wand at coronation and we all get to go. I have nothing to wear, of course." she said and we all gave her a look "What?"

there was a knock on the door and i moved dude off my lap and stood up and opened the door and there stood ben "Jayla, hey i-" i got bored and closed the door in his face

my friends looked at me and i shrugged going back to where i sat "What. It was just Ben." i said and mal scoffed standing up "Oh my god." she said going to open the door

"Sorry about that." she told him opening the door and ben smiled "Hey, Mal. I didn't see you guys today. I was just wondering If you had any questions or anything... That... you needed..." he asked her

i rested my chin on carlos's shoulder as i looked at his computer screen as we looked through the page he was on while ben and mal talked

"Not that I know of." she asked turning to us and we shook our heads "Okay. All right. Well, uh, If you need anything, just, uh..." that's when mal had a thought "Oh, wait! Um, is it true that we all get to go to your coronation?" she asked

"Yeah, the whole school goes." he told her smiling and she nodded "Wow. That is beyond exciting. Do you think that It's a possibility that the four of us could stand in the front row next to the Fairy Godmother, just so we could soak up all that goodness?" she asked returning a fake smile

"I wish you could. Up front It's just me, my folks, and my girlfriend." he told us and she raised a brow at him "And your girlfriend?"

"I don't get how you can stand her, she's so-" jay cut me off by slapping the back of my head "Karma." he told me and i rolled my eyes

"Yeah. I'm sorry." he said "Okay. Thanks, bye." she said closing the in his face and turned to us with a smirk "I think It's time that Bennyboo got himself a new girlfriend. And I need a love spell." she told us and carlos tossed her the spell boom

we waited for about 5 to 10 minutes until mal found a love spell and we went to the cafeteria kitchen when the lunch ladies were gone
