》A week later 》
Today is Christmas and Crystal hasn't seen or heard from Josh since their fight. They had planned on spending their first Christmas together but since things didn't go according to plan she decided to go home and spend it with her family.
📍Tennessee
Crystal's elder brother Marquis/Quis went to go fetch her at the airport. They're currently in the car driving home...
Quis: so how have you been sis its been a minute
Crystal: I'm okay I guess, could be better
Quis: you wanna talk about it?
Crystal: not really, I just need you to cover for me when mama starts bringing up the marriage and children BS
Quis: [laughs] don't worry, I got you sis! Idk why they can't just accept that you're living your best rich auntie life
Crystal: [laughs] and is!!
Quis: [smiles] glad I could get you to smile, love you baby sis
Crystal: I love you too bro
A few moments later they finally pull up to the house and it's packed! Aunties, uncles, cousins and of course Crystal's favorite group of kids [her nieces and nephews]. She walks in and greets everyone, the kids come running towards her, hugging her.
Janae: [the youngest] auntie what'd you bring us?
Crystal: damn that's all yall see when you look at me? Can I get some love?
MJ: [Marquis jnr] you know we love you auntie Crys but we love you more because you're the rich aunty who always buys the best gifts!
Crystal: [smiles] okay how bout yall bring my bags in and then I'll give yall the gifts
-the three oldest run off to the car, while Janae stays hugged up on her legs-
Crystal: aww you want auntie Crys to pick you up baby?
Janae: yes pleasee
Crystal picks her up and walks to the kitchen where all the women are
Savanah: [Marquis wife] hey sissy!! Omg it's been a minute and the kids missed you!
Crystal: I missed yall too, you see how Janae is stuck on me like glue [chuckles]
Savanah: girl yeah, sometimes I think she loves auntie Crys more than she loves her mama
Janae: [chuckles] don't think mommy, that's the truth
Crystal: [laughs]
Gladys: [her mom] idk why you keep hesitating to give me some grandbabies!! The kids clearly love you and the clock's ticking
Crystal: [sighs] hello to you too mommy
Gladys: [hugs her] hey baby, did you come alone again this year or will I finally be meeting my future son-in-law?
Crystal: nope! I'm all alone
Gladys: [scoffs] so you managed to run off that nice man who was at your party! Girl what the hell is wrong with you?
Crystal: [puts Janae down] no mama what the hell is wrong with you?
Gladys: excuse me? Watch your mouth little girl
Crystal: nah fuck that! Everytime I come home it's the same BS!! You're always checkin for the wrong stuff, why can't you just be proud of me mama! I made something of myself! I built a legacy and I'm on two number one shows dammit!!!
Gladys: baby what good is building a legacy if you have no one to leave it to?
Crystal: [teary-eyed] you just don't get it *storms off to her room*

Knock knock knock
Crystal: I'm fine!! I just wanna be alone please
Morgan: [older sis] hey babygirl, I'm not here to lecture you, I'm just checking on you
Crystal: [holding back tears] I'm fine
-Morgan enters and closes the door-
Morgan: no you're not fine! Girl what's going on talk to me
Crystal: I'm just tired of mama and her smart ass remarks
Morgan: I know girl but that's just how she is... you know she means well
Crystal: yeah I know. I'm usually able to ignore her but I guess not today
Morgan: what happened between you and Josh?
Crystal: [sighs] we're over! It's a long story really but he got mad because I have a lot sex scenes to shoot with Devale on the upcoming season
Morgan: [scoffs] so he's mad at you for doing your job? Girl fuck that nigga he don't deserve you!!!
Crystal: [crying on her lap] I miss him sis, it's been a week since I heard from him and I feel like I'm going crazy! How can my chance at happiness get snatched away from me like that? He was supposed to be my forever
Morgan: [hugs her] I know baby and I'm sorry you're hurting. But you know sometimes shit happens to lead us back to the one we truly love
Crystal: [looks up] you mean Devale?
Morgan: yes! Look I know it's wrong and mama would have a heart attack if she ever found out about yall affair, but what if he's your forever?
Crystal: he's still a married man though! With 5 kids! I can't deal with that typa baggage
Morgan: [eyes wide] 5 what??! When did he get another one?
Crystal: oops I said too much! Uhm forget I said anything, let's go eat girl- I'm starving!
Morgan: are you sure you're gonna be alright
Crystal: [smiles] yeah
Morgan: and don't worry about mama, we're all proud of you sis and I know she is too!! Even though she'll never say it
Crystal: [hugs her] thanks sis
They went back downstairs to eat and despite the drama that happened earlier, it was a good day! Crystal spent a week at home, bonding with her nieces and nephews, above all she was able to forget about Josh and focus on her family! Being home always made her feel loved even if it wouldn't be for long because pretty soon she'd have to face reality and fly back to her chaotic life in Atlanta.
