"Child, in the future, you may wonder why I made you the stars in the night sky instead of another deity of this world," a woman spoke as her hair glowed in the moonlight. She was sitting on a large tree that stood in the middle of the lake and reached tall towards the sky.

The little boy in her arms couldn't yet speak. He gazed up at her, instead, full of curiosity.

The woman chuckled.

"You see, it was to give the moon a companion in the empty darkness, but there was another reason I haven't yet told you," she whispered tenderly.

"There are many other worlds outside this universe, and I have seen life breathe itself upon those lands. In those worlds, stars form naturally by the gods, given simply to light the dark. And yet, humans would create constellations out of those stars, shapes of characters in myths and legends."

The soft lady caressed her little one's cheek as she nuzzled her nose onto the other.

"So no matter what you do, people will always find a beautiful story within you, my child,

because you are a star that lights up my world."
