Oh candle, your light burns so brightWon't you come and sit with me tonight
Your flames dance and flicker with a warm glow
To remind me that I am home
Your sweet aroma fills me with spirit
Though the holidays are far off in the distance
Oh candle, how your little flame stands so tall
Though you be very small
But when it grows dark
And turns into the black pits of night
Their you will remain glowing ever bright
And when your time is done,
Your smoky tendrils will waft away
Before the first rays of
The early morning sun
I shall weep for the loss of
The one I shall see no more
For you are gone, my friend
Forever and forevermore
