I know what I want but sometimes I notice,
You're never really sure about your heart's desires.
You're the source of my inspiration and also my best friend's most heard name.
You're the one I want to be with and yet,
You play me like a game.
You tell me you want me and then you leave me dry .
When I tell you I can't wait anymore,
You tell me my love was a lie.
So tell me, tell me why I should wait for you,
Tell me why my heart yearns for you .
Tell me why, after all you've done,
I still find myself forgiving you.
