Sirens blaring,
“You're not daring.”
And now I am at war,
With my self sabotaging thoughts.Sirens blaring,
While you were all glaring.
And now I'm guilt-stricken,
As I breathed down the poisonous smoke.Sirens blaring,
My fault for sharing,
And now I am at a crossroad,
Wondering which way to go.Sirens blaring,
Unable to get my bearings.
And now I am in a screaming fit,
Throwing blame on my quiet furniture.Sirens blaring,
Your nostrils flaring.
And now I am folding,
I wish I could have been more resilient.Sirens blaring,
But all I am hearing,
“Don't speak because nobody is listening to you.”
So I took out my pen and paper to pour my heart out.Sirens blaring,
You left me staring.
And now I am stuck with my feelings stored down,
Only this time it is in writing.Written on: 14th May, 2024
