CH 15 THE THREAT

Jake's POV

I reached my fathers office after a twenty minutes drive,
I parked my car and walked in, to my fathers office,

After taking some turns and talking to some of my fathers colleagues, I reached my fathers office and opened the door.

He was standing behind his desk looking out of the window, when he heard the door open he turned around.

'You called me father?' I asked him,

'Yes, Jake I want to tell you something' he replied in a worried tone,

'One of the ministers, governing the blood collecting society was killed yesterday' he said with a serious face,

'And the evidence says that he was killed by a.....werewolf' he said

I was shocked, hearing that a werewolf attacked a vampire,

the werewolves live in the forests of Auradon, and they never attacked a vampire before.

My father picked up a paper from his desk and gave it to me,

'The minister was holding this in his hands' my father said,

I unfolded it, and there was something written inside

'This is a warning to, soon-to-be king Jake Stone, to surrender his throne to Jason, or else people of Auradon will continue to die, it time now that Vampires come under the werewolves and if you don't agree you will die too'

I looked at my father shocked, Jason is the king of werewolves, but now he wants the control of Auradon too

'Why does he want the throne?' I asked my father

'We don't know, but if they want it they will stop at nothing to kill you' he said to me worriedly.

'So what should we do?, cancel the coronation?' I asked him

'I think we shouldn't, if we will this will show them that we are scared of them, your coronation is the day after tomorrow and it will not be cancelled,

we will tell the witches about the threat and ask them to seal the ballroom with magic for safety' he said

'Okay, then if police get any other evidences about the minister's murder inform me'

I said and left my father's office, I walked back to my car and drove back home.
