Chapter 29- Strange!!

Midnight
Naira was sleeping soundly in her room

Naira's Room

She started to have a strange dream, that someone was watching her sleep, but it started to become like it was happening in real when she heard a sound "I love you" patted her forehead and then vanished somewhere. Naira woke up with a jerk. She was heavily breathing, she drank some water and sat with her eyes wide open. She switched on the side lamp and looked around the room but saw no one, now she was getting more scared. She went out in the balcony to have some fresh air.

Then something clicked in her mind and a wide smile appeared on her face

N- Oho naira tuh bhi na pagal hai, kartik aaya tha tere sapne mei, ab tuh usse itna miss karegi toh yahi hoga na......mai bhi na faltu mei daar rhi thi......chalo todha so lete hoon kal kitni meetings hai.

With this thought she slept.

Next Morning

Naira woke up not because of the ringing alarm but because of her ringing phone.

N(sleppily)- hello
K- Good morning jaan
N- Kartik itni subah....so jao aur mujhe bhi sone do
K- Arey madam dekha hai 8 baaj rhe hai aur aap abhi tak so rhi hai....so not like disciplined princess
N- Mendhak tu mil ja phir batati hun lekin baad mei abhi I'm late....bye

Kartik's POV
Naira kitna busy hogai hai, I like that kam se kam kuch faltu ka nhi sochegi . Aaj usse surprise deta hoon, phale meetings khatam kar loon
End

Naira reached the office, her dad office which was taken care by mukesh after their death, was now in her hands. She looked through some papers and attended meetings. After sometime she was hell tired, she came to her cabin and sat on the sofa backfacing the door. Someone came and started massaging her shoulders

N- Oh thanks I really needed this, but who is this, ab kya mera personal massager bhi hai, jabse aayi roz roz kuch naya milta hai, personal caretaker, chef , healthcare, dietician and what not!! Mai toh pareshan ho gyi hoon

"Mai aapka sabse personal assistant hoon"

N(not looking at him angrily) - How dare you talk to me like this

She got up and turned around and was speechless .

N-ka....r....tik
K- Toh tumne kya socha tha
Naira hugged him immediately. Kartik also hugged her placed a kiss on her cheeks to which Naira blushed.

K- So sherni kya chal raha hai
N- Umm....kuch nhi
K- I mean tumne ek din mei sab handle kar liya??
N- Nhj but mukesh uncle sab cheez ki care already kar rhe thae, so mujhe bs sab samajhna hai for that I need some time
K- Ho jayega
N- hmm
K- toh kya kare
N- Arey tum yahan aaye ho toh
.........

Kartik pinned her to the wall

N- Kartik kya kar rhe ho
K- Aapne kya socha mai yahan aise hi aaya hoon....jaanti hoon kitna miss kiya maine
N- Maine bhi kiya

He kissed her both eyes and then her cheeks and when he was about to go further, someone knocked

They got away immediately

N- Ha aa jaiyae

Mukesh came in with some more files

N- Nhi nhi ab mai aur nhi padhogi subah se kitte padha chuki hai aap
M- Beta yeh bs todhi se hai

Then his gaze lifted to kartik, who was standing behind Naira

M- Arey tum toh wahi hona jisne Naira ko bachaya tha

K- ji mai ...Kartik Goenka and rest you know
M- Ya i know famous business man
K- Don't embarrass me please
M- Arey.....naira pr yeh yahan kya  raha hai
N(surprised)- Yeh....yeh...ummm....ye h....yeh yahan kya kar raha ...kya kar rhe ho tum yahan
K- mai....mai....

M- hogaya tum dono ka natak

Kartik and Naira are shocked

M- Mujhe sab pata hai, aur waise I'm not the one to judge you.

N- Aapko kaise pata chala
M- Dekha tha kartik ko rote hue....I understood everything then only.
K(under his breath)- So clever!!
