Also, I am American and know only the bare minimum of British terminology ("chips" instead of "fries", "flat" instead of "apartment", etc.). Therefore, most of the terminology and metaphors will be American.

This is my first attempt at fanfiction and I wrote it while I was in high school and before season 4, so please keep that in mind if you're going to criticize it. Constructive criticism is welcomed, but if you want to rant about how you don't like the story or think I'm a lousy writer, then please keep it to yourself.
