@ItzaLilli i don’t think there’s a right answer to this honestly. it depends on the book and what your/your readers preferences are. 
            
            for long form books, i tend to stick to 2k - 4k, but that’s just because i’ll blank out and just write for a good few hours. but then i’m burnout for the rest of the week lol. for stuff like added members/more social media style books, i usually do around 800 to 1.5k-ish since the chapters aren’t exactly in any set plot.
            
            if you’re getting exhausted by 2k+ then definitely don’t write that much for one chapter. you’ll just get bored or unmotivated. i think 1-1.5k is pretty good for one chapter generally, especially if it’s filler or nothing big is happening plot wise. just allow yourself to write as much as you can and not push it too much or you’ll get burnt out. hope i helped!
