I LOVE to read. It pisses me off to no end, when a person posts the beginning of a story, doesn't post  ON HOLD.with it. I stumble upon it, get caught up in the story only to realise at the last posted chapter, that it hasn't been updated in months or some  cases in YEARS. Don't get me started on those who post chapters and get u hooked on the story, only to then say whoops the story had been moved to a paying platform. Do an A/N at the BEGINING of the story  saying hey guys this story had been started here on Wattpad but (for whatever reason u choose to use) it has been discontinued here. If u are still interested in reading it, it can be found on ...........) It's dishonest to purposefully do that to readers and when I stumble upon any writers doing it, I immediately unfollow them and delete all their writings from my library. The same way time is valuable to writers, it is just as valuable to readers. Respect my time and i will respect yours. Another pet peeve of mine is 2 million a/n with reasons for late updates. Authors have lives just like we do. I have this philosophy, the story isn't complete, find another book to read until I get an update notification. Wattpad has too many stories for me to be harassing an author for an update.
