HimeChan here and I just wanted to let everyone know I got a new piggie! She's an albino named Sugar and is just the cutest ever! 
          
          In other news, be prepared for updates and new stories in the future, this account has been quite inactive for a while so its time things picked up again. If anyone needs book covers our graphic shop is still open and accepting requests.

Hey guys, HimeChan here. Today, when I got home, I found out my guinea pig, Buttercup had died while I was at school. He had been sick for about a month and losing weight. I took him to a vet but then, about a week later it was apparent that he wasn't going to be around much longer. I still had hope but then, a week ago he was in much much worse conditions to the point where he couldn't even walk. I was scared, but to my relief he still pushed on. But he couldn't fight forever and today was that day.
          
          Buttercup wasn't just a pet to me, he was my friend. I got him as a birthday present when I moved to a new house and my birthday was coming around. Ever since i first got him hes been nothing but joy. He was the type of guinea pig who liked to sit there and let you pet him no matter how long it took. He would eat anything you put in front of him, but his favorite food was lettuce. He never once bit me, and you could put your whole finger in his mouth and the most he would do was lick you. He didn't like baths, but never jumped out of the sink, no matter how long he was kept in there. He was always lazy, and good to talk to. And no matter how hard I hugged and cuddled him, he never got mad at me. 
          
          He was a fighter. He didn't want to die. He was supposed to die a week ago but he kept fighting. He struggled even till the end. Even though he liked to stay hidden in his house, he still made the effort to crawl out of it before he passed. I like to think he was looking for me. But I got home too late and he was already gone. I'm going to miss him. A lot. And I know that I'll never meet another guinea pig like him. 
          
          I still have his mate, another guinea pig named Honey, and her baby Chocolate but no other guinea pig can ever replace him. Here's to Buttercup.
