Matt H. Shine

Hello! 

My name is Matt H. Shine, aspiring writer of science fiction, mystery, horror and more!

My favorite authors include Stephen King, Ernest Hemingway, Neal Stephenson, Isaac Asimov, Neil Gaiman, Aldous Huxley, Anne Rice, and Albert Camus. (To name a few)

I was a huge Harry Potter and Hunger Games fan growing up. I even dabbled in A Series of Unfortunate Events and The Chronicles of Narnia. 

Philosophy and History were my majors in college and I harbor an intersecting love for anthropology and religion, as well as poetry and literary classics. 

Strategy games are my weakness: Chess, Go, backgammon, Total War, Risk. You name it and I've probably obsessively played it. 

My aim is to craft a universe of connected short stories and novels, and I hope you will come along for the ride. 

I am more than open to read for reads and criticism of any kind, as long as it's constructive! And I always follow back.
