Hey guys! I finally decided to change my name. My old one is very near and dear to my heart because I met so many amazing writers and friends with it, but I am choosing to change it after five years of writing. I'm hoping it will bring inspiration but will also give newcomers an idea of who I am, because I am simply an Indian gal. :)

Like I announced on Instagram, I'm getting back into the groove of writing and hope to publish some more chapters by the end of this month!

Hey everyone! I want to apologize for not being as periodic with my updates. I have some stuff going on in my personal life and a really important deadline that has taken up my time for now and the next few months. For now, I will try to update at least once a month, most likely towards the end of each month, either The Queen's Dilemma or Summer of the Fireflies.

Thank you for your patience and a huge shout-out to those of you who continue to read my stories! I appreciate you!

I'm curious, how did you get so many reads on your books? Do you have any writing tips?

@DaughteroftheSeaGod3 It started with me working with book communities like @flexbookexchange or @treasurecommunity. I took the advice they gave and worked on my stories (since editors and feedback givers read the stories you ask them to). I got added to the hidden gems list, back when WP still had it, and gained many reads through that. I was also in the Stars program and two of my books were added to the Editor's Choice list after joining the program.

Writing tips wise, I'd suggest asking people to review/edit it. Write what you want, as long as it's within WP's guidelines, but don't write something just because you think it will be popular or fits a genre on here that is popular. If other stories are popular, the authors may have put time and energy into promoting it and working on the stories. Please take time to edit your stories! There are online grammer editors and/or Microsoft Word is super helpful!

            Hope this helps!
