Tobias Rants: September 18th, 11:00 AM
Hey guys, this isn't going to be a normal post. I'm going to share with you something that's been weighing heavily on me for some time. A few months ago, a guy came into my life and was - no, is - a very good friend to me. There was a time where I was in a bad place, and he made me feel worthwhile and glad to be alive. But now something has happened to him, and I have no idea what. We used to see each other every day and laugh together for hours. It was almost an unspoken rule that we hung out every other day at the same time. Then he just stopped showing up. Day after day, he didn't show up, which was odd because we never missed a hangout, ever. Unfortunately, he was very selective about what he would share about himself with me, so I don't know much about him. One thing worth mentioning, though, the last time we did meet up, he seemed off. Not his usual bright, bubbly, and funny personality; everything had changed. It was replaced with a solid stare and pale face, accompanied by whatever baggage he was holding in. Before we left, I confronted him about it. Then he expressed he'd have to leave for a while but for no longer than a week. He didn't explain why, and I didn't ask. I didn't question it at the time because I didn't have a reason to. Now I haven't heard from him in days, which is so unlike him. I may not know much about him, but I know enough that I'm taking some time off to find him. Chandler, wherever you are, know that I'm out here looking for you, bud.
