a/n: just to clear up, the Weres continue to be affected by the silver even when dosed with wolfsbane like Amelia in this chapter.. this is because they still have the lycanthrope gene thus the silver is still affecting them much like a burning allergy sensation!

Enjoy the chapter(:

I finally woke up, still in the same dirty and dingy cell that I was left in but the criminals that continue to lead the Lotus pack of Cambridgeshire.

I groaned in pain, pushing myself off the floor. The least they could do is leave me a pillow to save my neck from this terrible position, I could hear my bones cracking as I stretched. I loathed wolfsbane, it always felt like the worst hangover in the world as it passed.

I rubbed my eyes slightly, pushing the sleep away before I glanced around the room.

There were six cells in his dungeon, yet I was the only one here-- Lord knows what Chase and Ashe had done to the others that were in the cells before me.

The only other person that happened to be in the room was a guard. The room was dark and with the lack of my werewolf senses, I couldn't clearly see who the guard was, my mind ablur to who exactly it was.

"Look who's awake finally," The guard spoke, the familiarity of the voice rang however I couldn't exactly pinpoint it. After knowing so many people in a pack, the voices tend to get mixed up.

Plus I'm more of a facial recognition person than I am vocal.

"And you are?" I asked, narrowing my eyes in order to adjust to the darkened room. The guard scoffed and by his shadow, I could tell that he had crossed his arms over his chest before stepping closer to the cell bars.

"Not knowing who your pack members are? Some Luna you turned out to be," He retorted and I could finally see him in some somewhat acceptable lighting.

Almost immediately I recognised him.

"Bryan, of course, I know you," I feigned happiness before sending him a deadpanned look.

Sadly, Bryan happened to be one of the guards and pack members that I wasn't too fond of. The only reason he was around was that my father had a limitless about of respect for his father-- as well as, and I do not enjoy to admit it, but Bryan happened to be a very good guard.

It wasn't his profession that I had a problem with, it was his so-called preferences. And those preferences happened to be that he believed men should rule and that women should, well... Not.

Interesting that he was the guard to my cell-- it was very well intentional considering that Ashe and I used to spend our extra time complaining about men like Bryan.

"You know Amelia," He started up, squatting down in order to meet at the same eye level as me and he leaned his elbows onto his knees before continuing. "You were never really fit to lead a pack like this,"
