Chapter 19

???:"Manik". A unknown voice shout his name.

They look back (arjun and manik) only to see our very own monkey in human body Mr.Laksh standing their with a sheepish smiling face looking at them.

Arjun/Manik:"Laksh". Both said simultaneously.

Manik stand from his place....run toward laksh like a hopping bunny and embrace him.....laksh balance himself he is thankful he is used to of manik antics or they would land on floor only.

Laksh hold manik securely in his arms stopping his fall....manik just wrapped his legs around his waist and arms around his neck.....nuzzling his nose on his neck earning a chuckle from him.

Manik:"I missed you soo muchhh bandar (Monkey) ".

Laksh:"I missed you too Khargosh (Rabbit)".

Arjun cleared his throat to make them realise about his presence also.

They both broke the hug sheepishly smiling at arjun.

Laksh:"Hi, arjun bhai".

Arjun:"Hi laksh, kya mein jaan sakta hun yeh sab kya horaha hain?". Arjun questioned with raised eyebrow.

Laksh:"Wo actually arjun bhai mein aur manik itna time baad mila so I got excited".

Arjun:"Yeah that I can clearly see how much excited you both got". Arjun said sarcastically.

Arjun:"Waisa tum dono ek dusra ko kaisa janta hon?".

Laksh:"Wo actually bhai jab mama aur papa (Mr.Coelho and Mrs.Coelho) Delhi gayi tha tab I meet manik".

Arjun nodded his head  understandingly.

Manik:"Waisa bandar tum na bataya nahi ka tum araha hon".

Laksh:"Wo hain actually i want to give you suprise kaisa laga".

Manik:"Bohut acha (nice) laku". Manik said and laksh smiled at him.

Arjun:"Acha boys you guys carry on mujhe kam hain". Arjun said and picked his bag ready to leave.

Manik face fell the smile on manik face vanished after hearing arjun. Which they both notice.

Before they could say anything manik came toward arjun and hug him keeping his head on arjun chest.

Manik:"Matt (don't) jao na bhai please".
Manik said sadly.

Arjun felt his heart breaking into million pieces after hearing his sad voice.

Arjun composed himself and say.

Arjun:"Mannu bach I have to go....bhai ko important kam hain....but I promise ka mein ghar jaldi ayung.....tab tak laksh ka sath bahar (outside) jao aur enjoy karo hmm".

Manik:"Pinkie promise". Manik said while showing him his pinkie finger.

Arjun saw how manik forward his little finger infront to make promise. Suddenly he remembered how his baby also used to do same to make the promise.

He looked at manik emotionally while manik continue.

Manik:"If you lock your finger with mine then that's mean you can't break the promise". Manik said and arjun just chuckled hearing him and lock his finger with manik finger.

Arjun:"Pacca wala promise bhai ki jaan".

Manik:"Love you bhai". Manik said while kissing arjun cheeks.

Arjun:"love you too bacha". Arjun said kissing manik forehead and toke his leave.

While there laksh stood in complete shock. He can't believe what he is seeing the cold hearted, the arrogant, the egoistic merciless Arjun Suryakant Rawte who have a heart of stone behaving this much sweet with his best friend. Surely he have to tell this to rohit.

While laksh was in his trauma a pillow landed on his face making him hissed.

Laksh:"Ouch kya kar raha hain tu mani".

Manik:"Toh aur kya karun tu yahan mera sath time spend karna aya aur aisa khaira (standing) jaisa ka tuna koi bhoot dhek liya".

Laksh:"bhoot nahi dheka par usse kam bhi nahi dheka". Laksh said and manik looked at him confusingly.

Manik:"Kya bakwas kar raha hain tu". Manil said and laksh shook his head.

Laksh:"Tu wo sab chor aur chal mera sath".

Manik:"Kahan".

Laksh:"Tu phela bar Mumbai aya hain na chal ghumna chalta hain".

Manik:"Par". Manik objected as he want to sleep more.

Laksh:"Par war kuch nahi chal mere sath Khargosh". Laksh said and drag manik.

Here arjun and anirud were sitting in arjun's cabine discussing something.

Arjun:"Yeh tum kya kaha raha hon ani aisa kaisa ho sakta hain?".

Anirud:"Mein jo kahan raha hun wo sach (Truth,Fact) hain arjun.....manik se related koi bhi information nahi mile....other then ka wo xxx orphanage mein raha ta hain".

Arjun:"Kya bakwas kar raha hon anirud".

Anirud:"Mein sach kahan rahan hon arjun, mein bohut koshish (try) kiya par sirf orphanage ka naam ka ilaya kuch bhi nahi mila". Anirud said shocking arjun.

Arjun:"Uski medical history bhi nahi".

Anirud:"Nahi arjun meina kahan na usse related kuch bhi nahi mila other then ka wo kis orphanage rehta tha aur wo bhi tumna mujhe bataya tho.....warna uska orphanage ka naam bhi nahi pata hota......it's looks like ka Manik Malhotra naam ka koi exist hi nahi karta".

Arjun:"Aisa kaisa hosakta hain ani, he is still a teenager aur jab wo orphanage gaya hoga he would be a child, aur ek bacha yeah ek teenager ka pass itni power kaisa hosakte hain ka wo apni identity hi remove karde, impossible?". Arjun said frustratingly.

Anirud:"Iss ka sirf ek hi matlab hosakta hain arjun ya to wo baccha wo nahi hai jo wo hamen dikha raha hai ya fir uske piche koi bahut powerful insan hai jo yah sab kar raha hai".

Anirud said and arjun just closed his eyes in frustration. The sooner he wants to know whether he is his child or not, the more things are becoming complicated.
