Her word's make no sense to me  the way she talked about my late parents
"Understanding each other" i laughed at her

The next morning
Yawing a little i woke from the sounds of anklets in the room, i diverted my gaze towards the sounds
She stood there wrapping her hairs in a bun

looked perfect with her tall height and perfect brown skin "Staring is rude "I looked at her though the mirror " Just wondering how beautiful you would look if you behaved" i watched her little smile drop and her hands turning into a small fist

looked perfect with her tall height and perfect brown skin
"Staring is rude "
I looked at her though the mirror
" Just wondering how beautiful you would look if you behaved" i watched her little smile drop and her hands turning into a small fist

"I wonder how handsome you would look if you kept your mouth shut " i smiled at her confession

"Well i can surely grant your wish unlike you "
Not further arguing I walked inside the shower

Vinaya's pov
She glanced at him when he was walking inside the bathroom

Time skips
Vinaya walked towards the family gathered in the dining hall

"Vinaya's perspective"

"I wonder how many times do i have to remind you about the time princess this is not your castle tea at 7 remember"
I looked at mrs sushma
"Why are you being so rude aunty I'm just 10 minutes late and if you had such particular timetable for tea you could have asked a helper to make it " I replied without any intension to hurt her it's a practical thing right? Your gonna work accordingly to your schedule not other
"Mind your language while you talk to my mother " my eyes snapped towards Rahul

"look who's speaking " I snapped at him which i quess was enough to trigger his little ego
" Vinaya ! " I heard a stern voice behind me
"Adh-
Without listing he dragged me to the room
"What was that " he asked coldly
"It was them who were treating me as a slave even when you are no-

"You don't need to tell me anything I know both you and them but i don't think theirs a nessecity to answer back everytime try to ignore them whenever possible

I looked towards him nodding a little
The realation between the two wasn't getting any better but atleast it was stable like two roommates

Soon a week passed by , mr Adhvik sah was never home the whole week i listened to there taunts and complain without answering back ofcourse
It feels suffocated around the people who never leave a chance to look down on me
was busy in my  thoughts when someone spoke

"You will burn the curry this way vinaya" i looked at rahul who now stood at the kitchen counter
"Leave " i remarked
"Why are you always so rude to me I'm just trying to help "
I ignored him focusing on my work

"Ahh " i yelped at the sudden contact with the hot curry
Author's pov

Rahul held Vinaya's hand forcing it inside the hot meal pot
"Ahhh" she yelled in pain
He lifted her hand feeling satisfied
Vinaya's ran towards the tap letting the cold water flow on her hand her teary eyes glared at the man infront of her , she slapped him tightly with her other hand warning him right there

Her face was stained in tears and she sobbed looking at her burn hand while Rahul just caressed his cheeks walking outside

She sat there crying for atleast a hour her mind was screaming in anger while deep down she wished Adhvik was there

Her cries soon died as she held her swollen hand and walked outside , the only person who sat there was mrs sushama
"Aunt can you give me a burnt medicine" she spoke unsure of the response she will be getting from her

"Your mother didn't taught you cooking I'm scared you'll burn us oneday" ms sushma taunted

"You should be especially your son i might burn him "

Walking towards the washroom she turned the shower and sat under it gazing at her trembling hand
The first thought that flashed her mind was about him
"Will he believe her if she tells him the truth, or will he too blame her for being careless like his Aunt she's unsure cause this family and her husband are way to different"

Changing her clothes she tried to relaxed her body under the comforter

Adhvik's pov

I walked inside the silent mansion my eyes drifting to aunt who seem to be busy in the kitchen
"What are you doing aunt"
"Cooking cause the workers are on a leave and your dear wife is sleeping cause she spill some curry on her hand "

Shaking my head on her carelessness , she should have asked someone to help , I walked towards our room where she slept comfortably maybe or maybe not cause her burnt hand was still fallen on the bed side
No ointment was applied, how careless
Searching for a burnol and applied it on her hands i signed in relief
Not noticing her doe eyes glancing at me
I shifted my gaze to her face
" don't act carelessly while working in the kitchen  don't cook if you don't don't know how to there are many helpers in the home you need not to do anything"
she nodded with a small smile
Nodding back i took my shirt and laid on the couch

Authors pov

She looked at her hand he said he don't care about her but deep down we all know we can't ignore and not care about the people who live in the same roof

" I am not careless" she mimicked  looking at his back
Soon falling asleep
