chapter 4 : Past

flash back, freshmen year (6 years ago)

"princess goodmorning" mom & dad
"morning my pretty twin / baby" my kuya & ate greets me in unison.

in our family mom & dad calls me princess cause mom is our queen & yeah I'm second to the youngest that's why my ate are too old being called princess, that's what my ates said haha.

while my kuyas & ates call me sweetie & baby. everyone barely call me by my real name in our family.

"good morning! don't you love this scene, a perfect morning with my pretty mom & ate. a wonderful bright morning with my handsome dad & kuyas. my morning is already complete." sai said with her super energetic voice. everyone laughs

"oh here's your food." my brother gave me all of my favorite food, don't you love this family. they're perfect. I love them so much. I munch all of the food that my brother gave me. "delicious! as ever!." sai grins widely & her mom chuckle.

"today's your first day, hope you'll enjoy your high school years" sai dad said "yes dad" sai older brother brian reply

"your uncle Patrick & Dexter will take care of you while all of you are in school. if you need something don't hesitate to ask me, your mom or your uncle. we'll gladly help you. okay?"

"yes dad. we will don't worry" sai replied. my dad is not the typical strict dad. my parents & family are the coolest.

my parents might sound strict but in their words & action you could feel affection & love.

oh yeah before I forgot, I'll introduce my family one by one. we're a big family.

I think it's already in our bloodline to have a big family, my uncles & aunties also have a big family like us.

moms family consists of 13 person plus grandma & grandpa so in total they're 15 in Cortez family.

mom full name is Charloit Andrea Cortez, she's in her mid-age of 40 while on the other hand dads family consists of 15 person plus grandma & grandpa so in total they're 17 in Jimenez family.

my dad full name is Vincent Adrian Jimenez, he's 43 yrs old. 3 years older than my mom.

their age might sound & look old but believe me my mom looked like 24 & dad looked like 25 yrs old. you shouldn't get deceive by their youthful face.

oh before I forget my mom is a
Spanish-Japanese-Filipino while dad is Spanish-British-Filipino so all in all we're mixed with different bloodline & ancestors.

if you know the history of the Philippines, Spanish blood isn't a question anymore. in our family 'failure' isn't in our vocabulary.

the Cortez - Jimenez are considered 'elite family or Royal Family' one of the richest & most successful family in the whole country, I could say we're top 1 most wealthy figure for decades.

we climbed in top without clinging to someone, we climb with our hardwork, just like I said we are blessed with everything so being on top is not & will never be hard for us.
