➼ now that we've established motifs within your magical girl self, now its time to discuss how you're going to incorporate that into the lore
➼ In this case you have to use ALOT of connotations- like this!

➼the theme of the costume is yellow, making their powers light & the lore having a sort of link to happiness!
➼now we have to use the last connotation word "happiness" and include a fantasy element in it! The happiness could be an energy source that fuels your magical girl item, keeps your familiar alive etc.
➼ as you know, most magical girl animes have links to other wordly beings, outer space, ect. Their transformation items usually come from said planet, along with their familular.Thats why its so important to make the lore make sense for your magical girl form.(more about lore & world building later!)
➼all that matters is that the lore links to you & your powers & makes sense! Theres no point in your familiar originating from the moon & then you not having some sort of moon related magical form.Like i said earlier, motifs are a RUNNING theme in media, so that means the lore has to match too
➼ive said this once before, and ill say it again- RESEARCH👏🏽 THE👏🏽 MOTIF👏🏽 YOU'RE👏🏽 USING👏🏽 this will make things such as making powers & lore SO much easier for you when scripting

➼As you know, familiars are most commonly seen as animals- that being said, its best to pick an appropriate animal for the motif.This is quite tricky due to animals being there own separate motif in general- however in some circumstances, animals can link to the motif (e.g a flight motif with a bird familiar)
➼However, like i said before, you can stray away from this rule.Its not a big deal, its just something i wanted to go over.Unrelated animals can work too, especially ones you really connect with.Like your spirit animal or a zodiac sign animal
➼make sure your familiar is the same colour as the rest of your outfit/motif, that way you can tell its related to said powers
