When Hereward visits Vanteray the fortune teller, she does a card reading for him. Here's a little bit about the card deck she uses, which I've been designing alongside writing The Midnight Moon.
The name of the card decks she uses is called "The Secrets of The Moon". Each card, no matter its meaning or what else is on it, features a prominent moon, hence it's name.
In their present state, they are simply black and white, and I really love them. I may decide to add colour to them at a later date, but for now, I find them striking in their simplicity.
Currently I have designed a handful of cards, and I thought it might be fun to share them with you as I write the story. Let me know what you think...
