Chapter 6

RIELE

I was in grade 12, my last class and then college. Tyler's dad died from cancer and of course Tyler is the next CEO of his companies.

We were shared for a project. Mrs Alexander, our history teacher ensured that each of us got along.

"Whitney Bush and Bridget Jones, you girls are presenting on Japanese culture"

"Hei-Ran Jang and Maxwell Wright are presenting on the Chinese culture"

"Winter Jordan and Katie Carpenter, Italian culture"

"Tyler Raffaelle Guerra and Riele Anderson,Mexican culture" as she said this I was surprised.

"Jane Lawrence and Damian Romano, honestly I don't know what I'll give you guys but I guess Haitian"

" Finally, Yasmin Morales, Carmen and Carlos Fisher for the French culture".

I was so angry but I had to do it for my grades.

During recess, Tyler sat with me.

"Hey, Tyler"

"Hi" he says

"I didn't know your name was Raffaelle"

"Do one except Dennis and Winter knows"

"OK, so what are we doing for our project"

"I don't know yet maybe when I get home I'll make my research" he says 

"Sure, but I was thinking of a brief history of  Mexico, make their delicacy or do you have any idea?"

    "No, it's perfect maybe dressing?"

"I don't think we can get those" 

"O-kay"

       "But that's not a bad idea" I says Dennis joins in

  "Hey am so happy i got paired with Lucy Neverwinter"

"Great, we got paired"

"Awww, so cute"

"It's not cute"

"I hope this will bring friendship"

"Never" I say.

   Tyler offers we meet at his house for the project after school.

TYLER

     Riele goes home and drops her bag. While waiting, I go to the library to gather my research. I hear the door bell. Few minutes after, I decided  to go to the sitting room.

As I walk out of the library, i bumped into Riele.

"Oh, so sorry"

"It's okay, I was just coming to meet you" I say 

"Okay same here"

We go into the Library and start reading, comparing and compiling the information.

   Riele receives a call. 

  RIELE

           "Hey Winter"

"Hey"

"How are you doing?"

"Fine, still surviving with a loquacious queen"

" I know you will, you're a strong woman" I say as we laugh

  "How are you guys cooperating?"

"Who?"

"You and Tyler"

"Fine I guess"

"Our project is going quite rough"

"Oh sorry, we are making progress"

"Oh wow so cute"

"Nothing is cute about this"

"O-k, I need to get back to our project, bye"

"Bye" she says as she hangs the call up.

             As I checked the time, it was getting late.

"I need to get home Raffaelle"

"OK, but don't call me that, people don't know me by that name"

"They will, soon enough"

"Yeah, but not now" he says as we made our way to the sitting room.

"See you tommorow" he says as he opens the door and I walk out

"Bye" 

The project was a bit tough but we got over it, made everything perfect and guess what?

              We got an A+.
