Catnap x reader

You taking a walk through the meadow, to explore and learn more about earth. You mumble about things in your native alien language before spotting a strange purple thing on some tree, you walk over to it

"*unintelligible alien noises*"
You mumbled to yourself

"...hmm..."
The thing snored, it was a familiar snore too

"*more unintelligible alien noises*"
...

"Wait a minute-"
You then realized it was catnap

"Hey! Catnap!" You waved your arms, trying to get his attention

"Hmmnn....hm....."
He was still asleep

"Hey!!!Wake up!! I wanna talk to youuu, please wake up!!!"
You yelled out but he was still asleep, you were getting quite annoyed at this, so you pulled out your vaporizer and zapped it at the tree branch catnap was sleeping on, causing catnap to fall onto the ground

"...y/n."

"hmph, respond when i'm talking to you next time, catnap!"

"hmmnn....yeah...yeah..."

"Why were you even sleeping up there in the first place?! Don't you have a bed???"

"...It's my napping spot."

"If you wanna sleep, go to bed!"

"You can't tell me where to sleep"

"But you aren't supposed to sleep on trees!"

"O-Oh yeah? Well-..."

You sat next to catnap, pouting and stuff like that.

"...*unintelligible alien noises*" You muttered to yourself

"...your cute when your mad" he bluntly admits

"w-wha?!" you flinched, blushing slightly.

"Your cute when your mad." catnap repeated himself

"...or maybe just in general but...i dunno..." catnap looked over to the side, now sitting up next to you

awkward silence...

"w-well...I think your cute too"

"hm?" catnap turned to look at you

"I-...I think your cute and I think we should go out on what you earthlings call a "date". " you tried being blunt but miserably failed, ending up sounding nervous

"...ok"

your antennae perk up, did he really just accept, just like that????

"yeah."

you just sat there, not knowing what to do now as catnap gets on your lap, napping on it. you look down at him, still not knowing what to do at all but then you used to see things called "humans" pet cats that sit on their lap, so you start to pet catnap. He purrs, leaning into your touch

"your so...what's it called in earthling language...funny?"

"I think the word your looking for is "fluffy", dear." catnap commented

"...my name is y/n, not dear"

"oh no, it's a petname, like... a nickname for your romantic partner"

"oh..."

And so you two spent the rest of the day like that until dogday had to get you two up cuz he found a new adventure idea, the end :3 [i gave up sowwy]
