I'd Rather Die

18 3 1

The outside wind is cold.
Cold against my warm skin.

Here Where I sit i can see stars twinkling.
I can't help my racing thoughts.....
My racing pleas....
As I sit here under a tree,
leaning on its bark
in the dark
Thinking

Oh I wonder how it feels to be set free.
set free from this trap that
Surrounds me.

How I'd rather die
Than to lie
Than to sin.
Than to stay
Here and let my master's body be worn away

I'm begging God.
To take me away.

How I'd rather be in eternal sleep
Rather to let the devil in.
How I'd rather die
Than to lie
Than to sin.
Than to stay
Here and let my master's body be worn away

So now this is my wish.
This is what I want.
This is what I have to say

If I ever go astray...
Lord please  take me away..

I don't wanna be lost.
Lost in this world that is  about to  decay.
If All my years of living in this world  is going to be  full of hardship stress and pains
Let me cling unto this one hope that tells me I'll find joy
In My Lord Jesus who still remains.

Still remain in me. In us As we live.
Let me find Joy in the Promise.
Which I know must be fulfill.

Let me cling to the hope that I'll find happiness
In the Promise that must be fulfill
If not here where I Live......
I know I'll find it In the Almighty God
The king of All Kings

How I'd rather die
Than to lie
Than to sin.
Than to stay
Here and let my master's body be worn away
