Hello everybody, if you have read about my first chapter then you know that this is going to be updates and what we all have to do together. 

So we have gotten up to 1,607 signatures in 7 hours

That's a lot! I wanna thank everyone for this amazing teamwork to get it up to that

Most of you might say 'so we're finished, right?'

No, not really.

I'm not calling victory just yet.

Wattpad doesn't even know about the petition, doesn't know about our opinions and want we want. 

So now we need to get this out to wattpad

Wattpad hasn't even had a response to this petition, it's practically been a day since we started this for me.

So now they're gonna hear our opinions and loud. I'm going to be sending my own as well, you can use the same one or write your own.

Just one thing about this messaging! 

WE ARE NOT TRYING TO BE DISRESPECTFUL! 

We are not writing 'fuck you, wattpad' or anything else. We are stating our opinion formally to show we are professional and intelligent and we know what we want

Hello, Wattpad

I, like many others, use Wattpad not just for its vast library of stories but also as a platform to connect with friends and fellow readers. The personal messaging feature is an integral part of this connection. It allows us to discuss our favorite books, share ideas, and even roleplay within the universes we love so much. For many of us who don't have access to other platforms or websites, this is our only means of staying connected.

Wattpad currently hosts over 90 million users worldwide (source: Wattpad Corp). If the personal messaging feature were removed, it would disrupt the communication channels for a significant number of these users - myself included. This would not only impact user experience but could potentially lead to a decrease in active users.

The removal of personal messaging on Wattpad isn't just about losing a feature; it's about losing connections that have been built over time through shared interests and discussions. We urge Wattpad to reconsider their decision and preserve the personal messaging feature for its dedicated user base.

So Wattpad we have made a petition to go against this act, to show we are not proud of it and want what we always had. Our freedom of speech. If you take that away then you just took away our rights (Amendment 1) And if you're thinking it's a petty, small petition. You're wrong. This petition has 1.6k signatures less than 7 hours. And we're getting more.
