When Courage Took Him Away: My Dear Nightingale

Little bird was back and told me something I did not expect

How can I erase some fantasy without expecting a return from it?

It's always something outside my love to compliment

"Your voice is beautiful," and my hope is growing out of it

Oh, my dear nightingale, when will I hold you in my hands?

You always have my heart, but in my palms, you don't land

When will I see your wings soar in the sky?

When will ever be the most perfect time?

I know it's a lot for me to handle

You move a feather, and my walls will crumble

Always wanting and waiting, you'll fly

I hope you'll heal from that hunter guy

Oh, my dear nightingale, I understand the difficulty

Trusting humans like me is hard when they break your trust easily

Just know that I'll wait; I won't let my colors fade

I promise an eternity, nightingale; just don't ever slip away.
