As the morning light seeped through the curtains, I awoke to a new sensation, still lingering from yesterday's confession.
I glanced down to find his head resting on my chest, his grip on me tight as if afraid to let go.
Running my fingers through his hair, I placed a tender kiss on his forehead, He suddenly jerked his head away, and I closed my eyes curious about his reaction, but then, after a moment, his hand found its way to my face, gently ensuring my sleep remained undisturbed.
He tenderly kissed my forehead, and I felt a tear trickle down.
Opening my eyes, I met his gaze, finding tears glistening in his eyes.
Gently cupping his cheeks in my hands, I whispered, "Kya hua, mera baccha?" His voice trembled as he asked, "K... kya aap sachhi ho? Mai koi sapna toh nahi dekh raha?" With a reassuring smile, I replied softly, "Nahi, aap sapna nahi dekh rahe. Mai hun aapke pass."
