Driving on the bus and have nothing to do? If there are clouds in the sky, keep yourself busy.
I recommend keeping a sketchbook with you at all times simply because of these moments.
Looking at the clouds, you can see a million shapes and creatures, all telling a story.
One time, I saw a dragon with HUGE wings flying over my house with a ton of tiny falcons swarming around it, while a tiger chased after them all.

These moments are great for drawing ideas. While watching the clouds, make a simple sketch of what you saw, and finalize it when you are not bumping and moving everywhere.
