I remember your smile.
It was as bright as the sun.
Your beautiful black hair that fluttered around you whenever the wind started to blow.
How I wished time would stop.

Once your were late to school. 
I didn't think anything was serious.
But then the teacher got a phone call and I knew something was wrong.
I'm sorry I wasn't there for you.
If only time would have stopped before...
If only fate wasn't so cruel to you...
And if only I had the courage to confess my love...
Perhaps then you would be alive and mine.

It was winter when you were buried. 
I could still remember how I saw the snow fall on your coffin.
How could you leave?
Now look how sad your family is.
Your mother is hugging your coffin, not wanting to let go.
Your sister cries in your father's arms.
And your father is standing, looking broken.

In my room it's so cold.
Even though the windows are not open.
Even though the heater is on.
Everything is just so cold.

And like that years pass by.
I married a young woman.
I wonder... if you had the chance to grow in to a woman then perhaps your would look like her.
She was very nice to me and reminded me a lot of you.
But she's not you
I know I'm hurting her every time she sees the picture of you on the night table.
But she also knows that I cannot live without the memories of you.
Though my daughter says I'm cheating on her mother it feels like I'm cheating on you.
If we ever meet again will you forgive me?

I think my grandson is the only one who really gets me.
Although everyone in my family despises me for this I don't care.
I know I've hurt them.
I know I've been a despicable person.
I know I'm being selfish.
But then I look at your face and everything doesn't matter.

Looking up at the winter sky I am reminded of what happened years ago.
Though it was several minus degrees I felt warm and comfortable.
My body that has for years felt heavy suddenly became light.
And I can feel my life end here.
So I will take my last breath and make a final wish.

If there's a God above please grant my wish.
And my wish is to see her again and never let go of her again.
