You looked outside and gasped as you saw the first white petals fall,
As you felt them freeze your lashes when they landed on them, you knew,
As you watched your surroundings get turned into a stunning white landscape, you knew,
As you lay down and wished this moment would freeze and you could live in it for eternity, you knew,
As the snowball hit your back and you molded ammunition to get your sis back, you knew,
As you just existed in that cold white beauty, you knew,
You knew only a lesson a one in a lifetime occurrence can teach you,
You knew shit happens but it's all worth it if you get moments like this.

Yesterday I got to experience a real snowfall for the first time in my life. Plus how many times does it snow in Austin Texas? To me, it's a once in a lifetime thing.
