I laughed. "Zane, it's Cristiano"
"Oh" he smirked and sipped his wine.
"You know what, would you like to dance with me?" He asked.
"I can't dance" I replied honestly.
"Junior prom someone called Amara won the Prom Queen"
I smiled, a faint memory " stalker"
He backed up dramatically " oh- no hold on"
"Mummy! Mummy! Look what I got" My smiled widened as I looked at my universe, who's dress was complete ruined as she had dropped water or juice on it.
I picked her up "Rose, this is Mr.Zane say hello" I asked.
"Hello Zaney nice to meet you" she said as she handed her hand for a handshake.
"It's a pleasure meeting you Princess Rose" he said with a little bow.
Rose laughed as her cheeks painted red as she got shy.
"So how are you little princess?"
Giggles. " I'm good Mr Zaney"
"Excuse me."
Three heads snapped back to see Cristiano. An angry Cristiano. He was clenching his jaw, his palm was balled up in fists. He looked mad.
"Yes?" Zane asked.
A vein was popping from his forehead.
He looked maad.
I moved close to Zane and wrapped my arm in his. He intertwined our fingers, his hand was warm, big and not sweaty so I didn't mind it.
"I thi-think I should go, I-I think someone's calling me" he said and started walking away.
There was nobody calling him, angry steps on the expensive tiles.
"I though he was going to hit me" Zane whispered.
"Mommy! Can we go home I'm tired" Rosie asked.
"Okay, let's ask daddy" I said as I walked toward him with Rosie in my arms.
I was pulled back by an arm, I looked back to Zane giving me his phone.
"Phone number, now"
I smirked.
"No cheesy lines?"
"Nah, your too good" he replied.
I smiled and typed my number.
I waved him goodbye and walked close to Cristano, that's when I felt a kiss on my cheek, I moved away to see Zane smiling at me.
"Goodbye gorgeous"
Cristano was shaking with anger.
"Um, Cristano" his was still looking at the direction Zane had walked through.
"Cristano?"
"What!"
I narrowed my eyes. " don't show me attitude" I said in a low scary tone I often used with the kids.
He sort of looked embarrassed " I'm sorry"
"Rose I tired so I'm taking her home" I said
"Are you going too?" He asked.
"Yes obviously."
"They're going to be having a auction now for cancer patients"
I knew what this was and it was trouble.
"I don't think I want to participate" I said as I moved back.
"OH WHAT? WHY DOONT YOU?" I heard a drunk Clair speak.
"Your so pretty" she said as she was awkwardly touching my face "no wonder he's smitten by you" she said.
"Okay I'll participate, I said mostly cause I don't want to argue with a drunk Clair or Clair anyway"
"They have a babysitting place for the kids" he said.
"I'll take them" he said and walked towards Rose.
"All the participants should come here now"
I was the first participant.
I walked on the stage, thankfully not stumbling.
"1 million"
Zane.oh. God.
"5 million"
Random old man. Please no.
"15 million"
