Chapter 5: classes and an unwanted reunion

(POV change: Ruby)

During initiation I couldn't stop thinking about (Y/n) i couldn't see her on the jump pads and when I heard a girl with brown hair tell ozpin that she's at the nurses office after I heard that I got even more sad then I already was it was so bad that I almost got killed a Grimm

After ozpin finished announcing teams yang and I went up to ozpin

Yang: professor ozpin?

Ozpin: yes ms.xiao long?

Yang: umm could we talk to you in private about (Y/n)?

(Time skip)

I can't wait to tell (Y/n) the great new I'm so excited to see her reaction!

*knock knock*

(Y/n):*muffled* I'll get it

I smiled when (Y/n) opened the door

Ruby: hey! (Y/n) first off I wanted to apolog-

*door closes*

Ruby: o-oh umm I guess she's a little tired I mean she did do her initiation today

I looked over at yang and saw that her eyes were red

Yang: hey (Y/n) open the door!

Ruby: yang calm down we'll be able the talk to her tomorrow ok?

When I said this yang calmed down a little bit

Yang: yeah but I just don't like how she closed the door in your face

Ruby: hey it's alright look let's just go to bed

(POV change (Y/n))

Ilia: who was it?

(Y/n): oh, no one special

Ilia: oh, ok come on let's head to sleep

(Y/n): alright, man I can't wait for tomorrow

It's going to be my first day as a beacon student

Leo: don't get to excited *to herself* cuz it's gonna be boring as hell

Ilia: but don't worry it's not all bad I mean there's professor Goodwitch's class that's fun

Leo: yeah just about the only fun class

My mood quickly changed from excitement to bummed out

Ilia: well umm it could be worse right

(Y/n): yeah, yeah! Your right it could be a lot worse *thoughts* I mean the rest of my family could be here/ know I'm here

Dorm room above: HEY SHUT UP!

Ilia: umm yeah it's getting kinda late to be this loud

And with that we went to sleep and despite the discouraging words of my team I still found myself feeling excited
