Jay's POV

''I don't know, man. Do you really want to find out about the person your dead wife cheated with? If I were you, I would let it be in the past.'' Greg said.

''No, Greg. I need to find out. Even if that meant disappointment, but I will go today to that jewerly store.''

''Alright. I support you. If you want me to go with you...'' He suggested.

''It won't be necessary, but thanks anyway.'' I said appreciately.

''No problem.''

''How is going with that girl Helen? You haven't told me anything since your first date.'' I teased.

''She is amazing. I think she is the first girl that doesn't want me because of my money. She took me out for the dinner and payed for our meal even if I protested. I can't believe it. I'm head over heels for her.'' He talked excitedly.

''Well I'm happy for you. Finally a normal girl for your abnormal ass. Good job, Greg.'' I chuckled.

''You had to ruin my mood, didn't you?'' He snorted.

''That's why I'm here for. But I gotta go now. We'll talk later. I will tell you how it went in the jewerly store. Maybe, I find the person too.'' I said.

''Okay. Bye and good luck.''

''Thanks. Bye.'' I finished the call and placed my phone in the pocket. I put on my coat and walked out of my office. I touched the pocket in my suit to make sure the necklace was there.

''You're already going, Mr. Young?'' Eliza, my secretary asked.

''Yes. I have some personal business to attend. I will see you tomorrow.'' I said and entered the elevator.

I was somewhat nervous about going there, but I knew I had to do this. I wanted my mind to be at peace and to make sure if my wife did such an degrading thing. If she did, I'll make sure my children never know what kind of person their mother was. Someone can be a good parent, but bad person. And that bad personality overshadows the good part. Then, you can only be a good person in the eyes of your children.

I got inside my car and put the location in the GPS. I heard of that store, but I didn't know where it's situated. Passing by numerous traffic lights, after 45 minutes I was there. It looked luxurious because obviously it's for the rich people. I decided to go inside and find some person that can help me.

Inside was even more beautiful and all the jewerly was sparkling. But there were cameras anywhere and it warning to not touch the glass. Middle aged woman stood behind the counter and looked up when she saw me coming in.

''Hello, Sir. Welcome to Grand Diamond! What can I help you with?'' She gave me a smile as I approached her.
''Hello! I have a necklace from your store.'' I said and took the box out. I opened it and handed it to her.

''Oh yes! This design is not longer in the market, Sir.'' She pointed out.
''It's fine. I just wanted to ask you if you can confirm who was the one that bought it. There are also initials so it must be requested.'' I asked.

''I don't know if I can search it if you're not the one who bought it.'' She gave me apologetic look.
''Please, I need to find out about that person. It's a gift to my deceased wife, but I wasn't the who bought it for her. I'm Jay Young so you probably heard about my cleaning business. I'm not a bad guy.'' I explained.

''Yes, I heard of it. I think I can make an exception and look in our data. It can be a secret between us.'' She said. I sighed in relief and returned the smile.
''Thank you so much.''
''Well, let me go check. I'll be back soon.'' She walked in the back door as I waited for her.
