SABRINA'S POV
"Good morning princess" Ryan whispers into my ear.
"Good morning, Ry. What...time is it?" I ask, yawning.
"Doesn't matter what time it is. Wake up!" He says.
"You're probably right" I say as I pull the sheets away and get off the bed.
"On second thoughts, let's stay in bed for a while" he says, eyeing me up and down while licking his lips.
"Haha. No. I ain't doing that. Let's get ready. We're gonna be late for school" I say.
"Now where's the fun in that?" He whines like a child.
"Ry, let's just go" I say.
"If u say so..."
It's been a week since my birthday and I still can't get over that magical evening.
"Lili, where's Keiran?" I ask.
"Somewhere back inside a room having trouble figuring out her outfit for today" she says, laughing.
"That's sounds like something she'd have trouble with" I say.
"Babe there's someone at the door" I say to Ryan.
"I'll get that" he says.
"Wassup Rick! You good?" He asks.
"I'm doing ok. Are you off to school?" He asks.
"Yes" I say.
"Skip it" he says.
"Umm ok but why?" I ask.
"I have news" he says.
"Good or bad?" I ask.
"Somehow Both. But mostly good" he chuckles.
"K what is it?" Ryan asks.
"Your case is gonna be presented before the court tomorrow" he says.
I gulp at his words.
"Come on in" i say.
"You guys can leave if you want to" he says pointing at Nick, Keiran, Harvey and Lili.
"No we're good" they say.
"That's what I thought" he mutters.
"So how's it gonna be? I mean... I have no idea how this works" I say.
"What are you saying, 'brina? Haven't you watched courtroom dramas?" asks Ryan.
"Goddamn idiot. Shut your cakehole, would ya?!" says Alaric.
"Ok. Carry on" says Ryan.
"You've got nothing to worry about, Sabrina. I've got it all figured out. You just need to stay strong and answer honestly to the questions asked. Do that and you should be just fine" he says.
"Is that asshole lawyered up?" asks Ryan.
"Got no information about that" says Rick.
"Whatever" curses Nick.
"I need to speak to all of you. Will you be willing to come forward as witnesses in the court?" asks Rick.
"We are willing to do everything we can to help" says Keiran.
The others nod in agreement.
"That's all I had to confirm" says Rick. "See y'all tomorrow at 10".
"We'll be looking forward to seeing you tomorrow" says Ryan.
Rick bids us goodbye and makes his way out of the door.
