Chapter 4

Ken

"Oh come on!" Dorian yells as Jamal gets tackled before he throws the ball we tried to play both of our quarterback as much as we can, the boys get back into positions "last run through!" I yell out before they start

"Good practice! I hope we can get this together at tomorrows practice!" I say "we face a good team this Friday!" Dorian adds up I nod "got to show them how good this public school can be yeah?" Jamal yells up the guys cheer making my smile "go get cleaned up" I tell them they all walk away to the locker room I look at Dorian "they should be good by Friday they always are" I nod "you'll be able to meet my daughter Friday and her friend" I say as we follow behind the team

"Did you say you're daughter was single?" He looks at me smirking "didn't you say you have a girlfriend?" Dorian looks at me "we broke up over last spring break" I sigh "she is single just don't hit on her roommate and I'm not responsible if you get punched" he nods "wait isn't her roommate single?" He hits my arm I look at him "she is" he smirks "you want her roommate?" I roll my eyes softly "she is the reason I was all smiling the other day ok?"

"Ok ok I see you" he hits my arm once more and I smack it a small smile on my face "you don't say a thing ok? Elaine knows that we slept together but I still need to talk to her" he nods "of course" he walks in the tunnel to the locker room leaving me

Hey-Serena

I uh can't wait to see you Friday....-Serena

I can't wait to see you also,I think Elaine is going out with a friend Saturday so we will have the house to ourselves-me

Are you trying to get me into bed?-Serena

I look at the guys leaving from practice and rub my neck, going a long time without sex really sucks and to be able to have Serena back in a bed would be amazing

Uh well that is only fair I'll see you Saturday night in your bed then-Serena

I smile then get hit on the shoulder looking back at Dorian he just smirks "before you hooked up with her when was the last time you had sex?" He scrolls through the texts "about a year?" I ask he sighs "damn" he hits my back once more and walks away

I pull into the drive of my moms house to see her pulling at weeds in the front yard I smile softly after getting out the car she looks back at me "there you are!" She smiles walking over to me and hugs me like she didn't see me two days ago "I got food" I smile getting out her favorite KFC she smiles "come on let's go inside"

"So I'm seeing a women" I say cleaning the plates looking back at her as she reads the news paper "you are?" She smiles looking at me I nod "yeah she is Elaine's roommate, to our surprise Elaine is ok with it" I say putting the plate in the drying rack "she is younger?" I nod "she's 22" I look back at her watching as she raises her eyebrow "Elaine is ok with it?" I nod "I just want you to be ok with it also" she smiles "if you are happy then I'll be ok with it"

Serena

Movie nights were my favorite, me and Elaine would sit and just talk while the same movie we watch ever week plays in the background but who could get tired of watching Scooby-Doo?

I take a drink of my water looking at Elaine who lays on the other side of the couch "how is your grandma?" She asks me as grandma scoob is walking on screen "she's good why?" I ask watching as she sits up "my grandma called and I just worry about how she is"
"It's scary it really is if aren't with them trust me" she nods getting her bottle of wine she's been drinking out of the last two hours

"I mean she was like a mother to me so it's just scary to lose her" she sobs I move over and hug her "my uncle raised me and I felt the same when he was on his death bed all you can hope is that you can spend one more minute with her before she goes" I rub her back "right right" she makes me fall on my back on the couch and continues to lay on me I smile softly

"Have you talked to my dad?" She asks I blush nodding "yeah I have I uh I hope you weren't going to invite me to hang out with you and you're friends" I blush even more "well then I take my invite back you and my dad going on a date?" I nod "are you ok with that?"
"Yeah I am I've already went over this with you" She rolls her eyes looking at me "I just feel the need to make sure I mean it's your dad"

"And I'm ok with you dating him or what ever it is you two are doing" she gets off me I smack her butt making her laugh "and if you two have sex just don't talk about it infront of me"
"Why would I? That's fucked up?" I narrow my eyes "ok ok thank you" she laughs

Friday

Me and Elaine are currently on our way to Kens home to hang out while he is at work, then we are going to the football game I won't lie I miss my high school band days so I'm happy to watch this game for the halftime show, "so my dads assistant coach and I may go out after the game" Elaine tells me I raise my eyebrow "really now?" She nods blushing

I put my bag down in the guess bedroom and lay down on the bed "hey" I hear Ken's voice say I look up and smile "hey" he walks in so I sit up as he comes in I take his hand in mine making him smile as he pecks my lips "it's good to see you"
"You too" I peck his lips this time "hey you two can do that later I'm hungry" Elaine says we look at her "sorry Ella" Ken laughs softly
