Almost perfect

"Mummy mummy look" star said screaming all the way until she got to where I was

"What is it honey" I said as I heard Aiden mumble something about her running again

"Look what I found" she said holding up her hand to reveal a huge emerald. Causing the blood in my veins to run cold as I stared at it in shock. I was not shocked that she had found something as that had become a habit of hers even though we warned her continuously not to wander out of the cave and to touch any thing but rather because of what she found

" honey give that to me where did you find it" I all but managed to breathe out reaching out my hand for her to put it in while trying my best to find a scent or anything to show that there was an intruder, seeing none, yet that did not calm me if anything it only frightened me even more because I was certain that someone had been here and not being able to sense that person only led me to believe that this was no ordinary wolf. The wolf was powerful, smart , stealthy, and definitely experienced. Also I could tell that who ever it was definitely had motif as he had purposefully put the gem somewhere he knew that star would find it and come show it to me
Seconds pass and when star still didn't give the gem to me I stretched out my hand further looking at her wondering what was causing the delay

"Star give it to me" I said raising my voice slightly urging her to give me the emerald yet not being able to to anything more as my brain still had not come to terms with the fact that this was true and emerald was not any random one but the same one I had been seeing since I was little

" but mummy can't I keep it" she said her eyes watering slightly

" no give it to me" I said harshly snatching the gem from her hands. I noticed her start crying but that was at the back of my head as the only thing that was on my mind was finding Aiden getting the kids and getting the hell out of here

"Aiden" I screamed wanting to find him faster yet I knew my screams would only startle star and cause her to cry even more
" Aiden" I screamed again getting even more desperate now that I could not find him. Now that I realised this I saw how foolish I was acting, as the thought came to me what if the intruder had realised that I knew of his presence with the way I was acting and took Aiden .
I immediately calmed down and went to check on star finding her crying with a distressed silver trying to calm her down

"Hey baby look at me" I said causing their little heads to turn to me "please
Listen me okay" I said squatting to their heights and placing my palms on their shoulders "I want to you to go in the closet and don't come out until I come to get you" I continued after seeing their tiny heads nod

" lock the door once you get in and do not open it until you are sure it's me" I said causing silver to hold star as she burst out crying again

"Star please do not cry baby I need you to be as quiet as possible, you too star" I said with the softest voice I could muster considering my panic stricken state ushering them into the closet and waiting until I heard the door lock. As soon as it was locked I began walking around the house looking for Aiden trying my hardest to stay calm and not frantically looking for him
After searching everywhere I decided to go look for him in the pool area as I have decided I'm not leaving this cave or at least not while my kids are still inside. Just then I saw him, laying face down in our pool and I could not
help but scream and watch him in horror for a good five seconds until my brain started working and I knew I had to get him out of there but I could not swim. I was torn I didn't know what to do I could go in there and risk drowning the both us or can the only other people in this cave who knew how to swim, star and silver, yet I knew that there was no way I'd be risking my babies lives by asking two children to pull a full grown adult male out of a pool. Even if he was only an omega they were still children and I was not going to do that to either of them

Yet I did what any woman in my situation would do and that was get in there and try to save my mate. I immediately took off my clothes and stepped into the pool the cold water hitting my skin causing goose bumps to spread all over me. I continued to trudge in the cold water towards him the water slowly rising as I walked further into the deeper end. once I had swam well walked to where he was the water was chin level and I immediately grabbed him and tried pulling him out of the water resulting in him struggling against my hold and nearly submerging the two of us in water.
