"So, what was wrong earlier when you were talking to me?" Kennedy asks me. "My dad was at the game." I tell her as we walk through the park. "And that's bad? I would love for my dad to be at one of my games!" She tells me. "My dad and I don't have the best relationship." I state. "How come?" She asks. "My dad wants me to do really well I'm school and hockey. And I'm grade 9, I made varsity team, but I didn't fit in with the my teammates at that time. And I miss being a duck. And he wants me to do well in school." I explain to her. "That seems like a lot of pressure." She states. "Ya, it is. He puts so much pressure on me. My brother has it easier. He studied hard and now he's going through university to be a doctor." I tell her. "Oh woah!" "Ya. So my dad is really proud of him, and he won't be proud of me until I'm either making a career out of hockey or am a lawyer." I tell her. "Adam you'll be great at whatever you do!" Kennedy stops me and tells me. "Thank you Kennedy!" I grin down at her. "Of course Adam!" I see her smile.

I lean down and kiss her before we start walking again. Kennedy grins as I pull away.

"You know I like you right?" I ask her. "I do!" She grins. I can't help but smile at her. "I like you to Adam!" Kennedy tells me with a smile. We both smile and then I lean down to kiss her again.

It's Monday morning and I'm standing with Charlie, Dwayne, Averman and Goldberg at Guy's locker.

"I'm so glad we one our first game!" Charlie states. "Same!" Guy and Goldberg say. "We played good!" Averman tells us. "Adam, your girl played good!" Goldberg tells me. I look over at him and chuckle. "She did!" I tell him. "Wait, you're agreeing that Kennedy is your girl?" Charlie asks me as they guys look at me. "We aren't official but ya!" I grin a little. "Bansky has girl!" Dwayne grins. I laugh and I walk over to Kennedy at her locker.

"Hey!" I grin as I lean against the lockers. "Hi!" She grins at me. "I hope you don't mind, but the guys over there know about us." I tell her. Kennedy looks over to the five guys. Who also happen to be looking over at us. "That's fine. They would probably find out eventually!" She grins. "They would!" I chuckle. "They're still looking over at us." Kennedy tells me. I grin and lean down to kiss her. "I think that's what they wanted to see." I grin. "Maybe!" She grins.

Kennedy and I talk some more before go to biology.

"Hey, Bombay is down visiting. The ducks are going to visit him. Are you and Kennedy coming?" Charlie asks me. "I'll come. I'll have to ask Kennedy. She doesn't know him." I look over to Adam and say. "Well she's invited!" He tells me as we sit down for lunch. I sit beside Kennedy at the other end.

"Banksy!" She grins at me. "Kenny!" I grin over at her. "What's with this going on?" Luis asks. "They're together!" Guy grins. "You two are dating?" Connie asks with a big smile. "Not dating, but together." I tell her. "Oh I'm so happy for you two!" She still smiles.

"Later we are going to see our old coach. Are you coming?" I ask her. "Sure!" She nods. The two of us from and start to eat our lunch.

"Hi Adam!" Kennedy says as I lean against the lockers. "How did you know it was me?" I ask. "What other 6'0" guy would come talk to me at my locker?" She asks me with a smile. "Any guy!" I state with a smile. "Any guy huh?" "Ya!" I nod. "I'll have to look for a guy!" She grins. "You're funny." I grin at her. "Did you drive to school?" I ask her. "I did!" She says as she puts books in her locker. "Want me to pick you up at home? Then we can go visit coach." "Sure!" She grins at me. "I'm going to change quick. But I'll text you my address okay!" She tells me. "Okay! I'll see you in a bit!" I grin and kiss her cheek before she walks off.

"You two are actually adorable together!" Connie come up to me. "Thank you!" I grin. "Are you going to ask her out soon?" She asks. "Eventually. I just want to get to know her better before we officially start dating!" "Well treat her right Banks!" Connie says and walks off.

I pull up to Kennedy's house and I take a deep breathe before I go knock on the door. I'm most likely going to meet her mom. Which I'm nervous about. I take one more deep breathe before I get out of the car.

"Hey Adam! Come in!" Kennedy grins as she opens the door. "Hey!" I grin and step in the doorway. "Kenny who was at the door?" I hear a voice come from which I'm guessing is the kitchen. "It's Adam!" She tells her. "Sorry I took a little longer than I was planning on!" She apologizes. "I'm not in any rush, it's fine!" I tell her.

"Hi Adam! I'm Holly!" Her mom comes over and introduces herself. "Hi, nice to meet you!" I grin at her. "What time are you going to be home Kennedy?" Her mom asks her. "Im not sure. Probably not too late!" "Okay! I'll see you later then. Have a good time. Nice to meet you Adam!" Her mom says before we leave. "Bye mom." Kennedy says. "Bye!" I say.

"How's Kenny?" I ask. "Not bad. How's Banksy?" She grins. "Pretty darn good!" I chuckle.
