It has been three days since the meeting and I still haven't gone to meet Tarini I couldn't muster up the courage because I didn't know what to do when I meet her
I just got out of a meeting which was held at another building. It was already lunch time so I thought to grab some food from a nearby restaurant
Usually Ronit would accompany me for lunch if we had meeting outside, but he had plans for lunch so I let him go
I'm not so heartless to spoil his plans for lunch, he is one of the best employees of my company so I didn't want to restrict him from having a good lunch with someone he had plans with also I don't have any right of stopping him from doing anything during his lunch time
I drove my car around in search of a restaurant, after few minutes I found one cosy restaurant, good for me it wasn't too crowdy
I parked my car and went inside, I was walking towards an empty seat when I saw her
She was taking a bite of her food while looking something on her phone. No one was sitting in front of her so I thought I'll go and talk with her
I went and stood in front of her and called her
"Miss. Verma" I addressed her
After hearing me she looked up and stood up to greet me
We spoke for a few minutes and she told me her friends couldn't join her today so I took my chance and asked her if I can join her and thankfully she agreed
I loved how she got flustered when I told her we will meet outside office too, after our lunch I told her I will walk her till her office, while walking side by side I realised just how short she is. It's cute though

After a while we reached her office and I gave her a small smile and bid her bye

Soon I reached my office and parked my car and went towards my cabin and started with my work
I ringed the intercom to ask ronit to get a file from the marketing department, he came in a few minutes with the file and handed it to me. I told him to go back to his cabin
When I started reading the file I found far too many mistakes to even count on fingers, I ringed Ronit again and yelled at him to get the employee who was working on the file
After a few minutes a man in early 30s came with Ronit behind him and he informed me that he is the one who was working on the file, after informing this Ronit walked out of my cabin
I can already see him shaking in his boots, good that's how it should be
"Read this file" I said and gave the file to him
He started reading it after a few minutes I asked him
"Did you find any errors in the file"
"Ye-ss s-irr" He stuttered
"When you know that there are errors why didn't you correct it?" I yelled at him
I was having a good day and employees like him just know how to ruin my it
"So-rry si-rr I-I w-il-l cor-re-ct it so-o-n" He was on verge of crying
"Take this file and get out of my sight and this is your last warning if you make a mistake again get ready to never work here again" I roared
He ran out of the cabin as soon as I finished speaking. I am not cruel enough to fire someone for a mistake, sure I have fired many of them but it's only after warning I have given them
If you make same mistakes twice you should know better than stay in my company for even an extra minute
I ringed the intercom again
"Get me a coffee"
Few minutes later Ronit walked in with my coffee and kept it on the table, I mumbled a thank you to him he nodded and went out
I went and sat on the couch and sipped my coffee while reading some emails, after I finished my coffee I kept the cup on the coffee table in front of the couch and went and sat back in my chair to continue my work
I didn't realise how long I was working because Aarhan came in the cabin and told it's time to leave for home
"Bhai it's already 7:30 let's go" He said while standing on the door of mg cabin
"Take a sit on the couch or sit in the car I have something to finish" I said while typing on my laptop
He took a seat on the couch while doing watching reels on his phone, I can hear the music clearly from my seat
"Reduce the volume" I said
"Sorry bhai" He said and reduced the volume
A few minutes later I finished working and closed my laptop and packed it in my bag and carried my laptop bag in one hand while my coat in the other and removed my car keys from the drawer, Aarhan collected his things as well and we walked out of my cabin
We both settled in the car and drove towards our home, by the time we reached home it was 8:30
Everyone was sitting in the living room either talking or watching TV or on their phones, we both greeted everyone and headed towards our room to freshen up.
I took a shower and changed into some grey sweatpants and navy blue hoodie and went towards the dining room, everyone was already sitting on their seats
It was a unspoken rule that everyone will have dinner together and if one of us can't join they should give a valid reason and should inform beforehand
We spent our dinner with casual talks about how everyone's day was, as I finished eating I excused and went towards the kitchen to wash my dish, I walked back towards the dinning table and wished everyone a good night and went towards my room not before pecking my mom on her forehead
I went to the balcony with my laptop to do some work, I was expecting a call or text from Tarini since I gave her my number but I didn't get any
