12. Crazy family

Next Morning
It was slightly raining outside. Jungkook woke up and took a shower. He wore casual clothes and went towards the kitchen to make breakfast but in the kitchen Taehyung was already preparing breakfast. He was wearing jeans with a crop top. He was looking really cute and beautiful.
"Tae what are you doing? Why did you get up this early?" Jungkook asked.
Taehyung looked at him and said, "Actually I slept a lot last day so I got up early and thought that it's better to prepare breakfast for us." Taehyung said.
"You should wait at the dining table. It's almost ready. He added.
" Ok." Jungkook replied and went towards the dining room.

After 5 minutes, Taehyung came with breakfast and placed everything on the dining table. He prepared Kimchi toast, a simple sandwich and orange juice. He served breakfast to Jungkook and filled his glass with juice. And then served himself.
Jungkook took his first bite. Taehyung was looking nervously at him. It's been a long time since he cooked something. While living in London he used to order food from outside because he used to do a lot of work in odour to earn money for himself and his daughter. He rarely gets time to cook something at home. This is also the reason why Areum wants a dad who can cook for them.

Jungkook who saw Taehyung looking at him expectedly said, "It's tasty Tae. Thank you for the breakfast."
Taehyung smiled widely hearing the compliment and said, "I am happy that you liked it. Actually I was worried about its taste because it's been a while since I cooked." Jungkook just smiled at that.
They did their rest of breakfast quietly.
After breakfast Taehyung took all the dishes to the kitchen and started cleaning them while Jungkook went to get ready for the office.

They were about to leave for Big Picture Entertainment but suddenly Taehyung's phone rang. It was Seokjin. He told Taehyung that Areum is having a fever so he should come to Universal Hospital as soon as possible. Taehyung said ok and then cut the call.
Taehyung looked at Jungkook and said, "I am sorry Jungkook. An emergency came up. Can we sign the contract some other day?" He asked hopefully.
"Oh no problem. Do you need some help? Tell me if you need anything." Jungkook said being worried about Taehyung.
"No no it's nothing like that Jungkook. Everything is fine. Actually my friend is sick and he is in hospital right now so I need to visit him. I will meet you later." Taehyung said. He couldn't tell the truth to Jungkook. The person who is sick is not his friend but their own daughter.

"Which hospital?" Jungkook asked. "Tell me I will drop you." He added.
"Universal Hospital. And it's ok you don't need to be worried. I will manage." Taehyung said.
"It's raining outside Tae. If you go out in this weather that is also without an umbrella then you yourself will fall sick then who will take care of your friend. Let me drop you." Jungkook said.
"Ok. Thanks for the lift." Taehyung said.
"No problem." Jungkook replied.
Just after 15 minutes they were infront of the hospital. Taehyung thanked Jungkook and then quickly went inside the hospital. Jungkook told his driver to take him to the company.

Taehyung quickly reached the ward in which Areum was admitted. Both Seojoon and Seokjin were with her. She was laying on bed and an IV drip was attached to her hand. Her small face was looking pale. Her eyes were closed. She was sleeping. Taehyung looked at his daughter and felt like someone just broke his heart into millions of pieces. His daughter is looking so pale and weak. He left his daughter alone just for two nights and now she is in hospital. He felt like a worst mother. Which mother can leave their child like this? He couldn't even take care of his daughter properly. He asked Seokjin, "Hyung how is she now? Is she alright? What did the doctor say?"

Seokjin said in a low voice, "Tae she just slept now. Don't worry she is absolutely fine. Actually this morning when she woke up she was feeling slight pain in her stomach. When I checked her she had a mild fever. She even vomited. I just panicked and called Seojoon to help me in taking her to the hospital. The doctor said that she is having viral fever. It's just because of the change in the weather."
"Oh god I should have returned home last night." Taehyung said.
"What would you have done if you had returned Tae? It's not like you could prevent her from getting sick. Don't blame yourself. She is 4 years old Tae and children in this age get sick quickly. It's just a viral fever. She will be fine in some days. Don't worry this much. The doctor said that she needs to stay here for one more day and then they will discharge her " Seokjin said.
