It's hard for people not to assume one's pronouns/gender. I made a big mistake in March (2023) while voice messaging ANOTHER ex while I was still with them. I'll tell you the story about them in my other book. Keep an eye out for when I publish that chapter.
Anyways, I was voice messaging them about my partner Em helping me with dysphoria. After listening to what I said, the mistake I made haunts me to this day.
I called Em a "she"!
In a second voice message, I pointed that out and apologized. It was SO awkward, lol.
Everyone makes mistakes, and that particular mistake occurs often. Em never messed up when addressing me because of how much they care. It seems like the more they care about someone, the less they'll mess up with their pronouns. The thing is, with my 2nd ex, they would almost always mess up. Don't know why, because they seemed like good friends. *GASP-*
Wait a moment! Could they detect how fake they were?! Omg, I'm dating a psychic! 🤣
