Javon sits in the living room with Jayla watching 'New Girl'. Madison just went home to grab her math test so they're just waiting for her to get back.
After the live, the three of them went inside and got both Jaden and Ariana on the phone and began to plan the 'boxing match' and Ariana meeting everyone. Once everything fit into the time frame Madison left to go get her paper so Mr. Walton could hang it on the fridge.
"So you and Mads, huh?"
Javon is completely taken aback by Jayla's comment and begins to stutter. "W-what? what are you..? huh?"
Jayla smiles knowingly at the younger boy's reaction. "Don't play dumb. You and Madison, that's, huh?" Jayla mocks while looking at her younger brother.
"What about me and Madison?" Javon asks knowing that isn't the answer that Jayla wants to hear. "Are you guys like...finally dating?"
"nope, "Javon tells the older girl while not looking away from the TV even though he doesn't even like what's playing. "Why not, I thought you were serious about her?"
Javon shrugs at his sister's words. "I am. I just can't do anything about it" he tells her making her brows furrow in confusion.
"She's into you, you're into her. Remind me why you can't do anything about it." Jayla says while crossing her arms as she looks at the younger boy. "It's just not the right time."
"You're joking?"
"No, I'm not. We just became friends again not even a week ago and now Arianas about to be here for a week, there's no time to just 'Hey Mads, I like you, you like me, let's date.'." Javon stresses while looking at his older sister.
"Yeah, um... don't ask her out like that." the older girl starts. "And why don't you just ask today, or before Ariana gets here?" Jayla suggests, and Javon sighs.
"Jayla, it's been 4 days, we've been friends for 4 days now, I'm not asking her out now or anytime this week." Javon States only making Jayla groan.
"You are so difficult. She'd say yes if you asked her out with flowers made out of toilet paper." Jayla says resulting in Javon furrowing his brows.
"Yeah, no... no she wouldn't"
"Okay, obviously that was an exaggeration. No one would go out with you if you did that." Jayla shrugs. "No one." the older girl drags.

After some time Madison is finally back at the Walton household. While Madison was out Jess took Daelo grocery shopping with her so now she's just at the house with Jayla and Javon.
"Here, lemme see that," Jayla says while grabbing the paper from Madison. "You said you didn't cheat?" Jayla asks while looking over the paper.
"That's 100% Madi right there," Madison says proudly with a big smile plastered on her face. This is the first ' A ' she's gotten since elementary school she's more than proud.
While Madison swoons over her grade Jayla and Javon send each other looks both noticing how Madison has been referring to herself as 'madi' all day now. Neither of them says anything, deciding not to mention it unless she brings it up.
"You said this is your first ' A ' since when?" Javon asks gaining the attention of both girls. "Elementary, 3rd grade if we're being specific," Madison says sassily.
"That's good, Mads, I'm proud of you," Javon tells the girl while shrugging.
After hearing those words both Jayla and Javon watch as Madison's face lights up. To them, it seemed like a simple compliment but it was so much more than that for Madison.
The girl worked her ass off to get that grade. She stayed at school after hours to ask for help from her teacher and she asked her friend to show her how he does it. In conclusion, she put in such an effort and got the grade.
"Thank you," Madison says while looking away from the paper and locking eyes with Javon. "I mean, it's good shit, c'mon." Javon says while holding up both his hands earning a 'double high five' from Madison.
"Yeah, this is actually really good. Let's hang it on the fridge, type shit." Jayla says and Madison cringes. " 'Type shit' I fucking hate that," Madison mocks while looking at Jayla who just flips her off.
Just when Madison is about to make a snarky comment and flip Jayla off her phone goes off. "I bet it's Ariana" Javon says while looking at Jayla. "My money's on Lilly."
"Nah, it's Jaden," Madison says before answering the phone and putting it on speaker.
"Hey, Jaden, you're on speaker," Madison says while placing her phone down on her knee. "Uh, who are you with?" Jaden asks.
"Just Jayla and Wanna"
"Oh, okay. Wassup, guys" Jaden greets, no longer sounding distant. "Hey, Jaden," the two 'other' Walton siblings say.
"I was just calling to see if we were still doing 'that thing' were supposed to be doing on 'that day'?" Jaden says making Jayla and Javon both share a confused look.
"Yeah, why?"
"Nothing, I was just making sure," Jaden says, and Madison says 'alright' and 'Goodbye' soon after, continuing to ignore the weird looks from Jayla and Javon.
"So what was that about?" Jayla asks once the call ends and Madison sits back and lets herself 'sink' into the couch.
