My dad then finishes driving and parks the car. I place my bag on my back, so does Maddison.

My dad then unlocks the door to our home, we then stamp our feet on our door mat because it was raining (typical English weather) we then take off our shoes.

"So.... How was school for you lot?" My dad questions us.

"It was fine" Maddison and me say.

"You two always say that" mom says, joining the conversation.

To be honest, I can't really think of anything to say other than "it was fine". Why do my parents think school is interesting?
