I explain to James and Maddison that I and their dad could get divorced, and that I've found this guy that I like on Tinder.
I show them a photo of him.
His name is Raphael Arslan. In his bio it says he likes travelling, and that he was born in Turkey and moved to the UK when he was two. The photo of him shows his oriental-looking, deep set eyes, his egg white skin tone and his black hair that falls in waves over his forehead. He has a stocky build and a closely cropped beard.
My children examine his face, making confused facial expressions as they do this.
"He's..." Maddison spoke.
"Alright" James said, finishing off what Maddison was going to say.
Maddison faces James and nods her head.
