I walk into the living room, which is where my husband and my children are, decorating the Christmas tree.

"James, Maddison, Charlie, are you guys hungry?" I questioned them.

James glanced over at me, but didn't say anything. Maddison and Charlie said yes, and we were discussing what they would like to eat.

"Why can't you just let them spend time with me" my husband interrupts.

"Excuse me?" I say in response.

"You're stopping my children from spending time with me, their dad".

"What no I'm not,  I just asked them if they are hungry?"

Me and my husband then started to argue, he kept accusing me of not allowing my children to spend time with him, and I kept telling him that I did nothing wrong.
