Chapter 11: Dancing Battle

It's Monday again and all of the students came to school just on time no one was late and no one was absent

Well except for Mina we heard she moved to England with her parents

The day passed by very well and it was now time for dancing class

We had to pair up with someone and do a dance performance for 3 minutes and with only 5 minutes of preparing the choreography

The teacher did the devising and I was paired up with Hoseok while jungkook was with Sora Namjoon & Celia Yoongi & Becky Jimin & Jandi
Taehyung & Jinri then Jin & Hyumie

We all finished practising on our choreographies and it was time for us to perform  

They all performed beautifully but since all the girls were pairing up with a BTS member they were kinda freaking out everytime they touch them so it wasn't so perfect

On the other hand. Hoseok and I performed a flawless dance it was sick. We amazed everyone in the room including the teacher. We even amazed ourselves.

"Okey thus was Off The Chain " the teacher said

"The school is having a dance Battle with four other schools but in each one of the schools we only get to pick one student . I can't pick anyone of the BTS band since they're already known as very talented dancers  so I'll have to pick ... Let's see .. Y/N!"

My jaw dropped to the floor when I heard my name as the boys cheered loud for me and girls just faked smiles or crossed arms or glared at me when the boys ran to me pulling me into a group hug

What just happened ? Shit I'm having a dance Battle

"It will be on Friday so get ready" the teacher said "also all of you are aloud to come by and cheer for her" he continued

Damn I'm in deep

After that dance class I got out exhausted. I just wanted to go home I changed and met up with jungkook who suggested walking me home

Once we got out from school we intertwined fingers and walked home
"God I can't believe I got into this dance Battle thing" I gasped

"Well you should be proud. You're actually a great dancer" he said wrapping his arm around my waist

"Thank you kookie" I said as I stretched myself to kiss his cheek which made us both blush like crazy

"Why don't you audition for the Big Hit entertainment company .. Our company" he suggested

"Naah .. dancing is just a hobby for me. My real goal is to become a doctor. A cardio surgeon in fact" I said looking at him with a smile on my face

"Aah my tough Y/N wanna be a surgeon it's not easy you know " he said

"That just makes me love it more" I replied grinning

"You just keep impressing me day by day Y/N .. I Love You princess " he said stopping me kissing my forehead and leaning to give me a quick peck on the lips

I blushed like crazy and I could feel my cheeks burning

~~Time skip to the dance battle~~

Today was the dance Battle. I've been training for the whole week in order to keep myself fit.

My dad drove me to the center where the event is taking place.

It was a huge center and a lot if people attended the event I presume that it was the students of the other schools

"Miss (L/N)(Y/N) ?" A man came and asked me

"This is she" I replied

"Please follow me we need to give you your badge" he kindly asked

I nodded and followed him to get my badge and have my name registered

I then walked into the room where we will be performing and I saw the boys including jungkook and some other students from my school they all came to cheer for me. I waved at them in order for them to notice me

Jungkook turned around and stood up from his chair as soon as he saw me. The boys did too as they also noticed me. they started jumping up and down like frogs holding some fliers with my name written on them in big letters

I laughed at their actions and made my way backstage.

There, I saw the other four students I'm facing in the battle

There was too girls and two boys

We were supposed to perform an original choreography to the songs assigned to us by the judges.

We get to listen to the song twice 5 minutes before we get on stage and perform the choreography

That means we need to IMPROVISE 

Shit.

All of the contestants performed awesomely which made me feel more nervous but it was now time for me to perform

I listened to the song backstage and it was tight ! It was so dynamic and fast
It's time. I should get on stage and perform my dance.

I stood in the middle of the stage back facing the audience I took a deep breath and the music started. My body moved perfectly to the song slowing down when it slows down and quickening my steps when it gets fast.

It was amazing I enjoyed every second of it

I stopped and all the room was quiet but soon Cheers and screaming was filling the room. People standing up and raising their hands calling out my name. Judges stood up clapping for me with the largest smiles on their faces.

I grinned as I breathed heavily and then bowed .

I got off stage and went backstage where the boys were waiting for me. They ran up to me as jungkook hugged me so tight and cupped my cheeks

"You did great baby. You did great God I love you" Jungkook said with proud in his eyes before he hugged me again

"Thank you babe" I said hugging him back "Thank you all for coming .. It means a lot for me" I continued pulling away from jungkook and looking at the boys

"You know we're always there for you Y/N" said Jin rubbing my back

I am so lucky to have such good friends.

Time for results. The five of us stood on stage head down eyes closed waiting for the result

"And the winner of the schools' dance battle is ...." the judge said

Shit shit shit shit

".....MISS (L/N) (Y/N) ..."

Oh my god

I covered my mouth with my hand and my eyes widened as stepped forward and claimed my trophy

I was almost gonna cry out of happiness. I did it... I was... PERFECT

I went out with the boys to celebrate after calling my parents telling them that I won . They were really happy and excited to see the trophy

They said I made them proud and the teacher said I honored the school

It was an unforgettable day ...
