Face-offs

Randhir gritted his teeth glaring sanyukta hard ,who stood facing him without battling her lashes from him and pulled his hand keeping the money on his palm.

“aur koi kaam..sir.?”

Throwing another murderous glare at her he sprinted away from there ,tightening his fist crumbling the money in his palm in that process ,about which he cared less.

Sanyukta let out a sigh once after he was gone ,then went away to resume her work she had left behind.

"Mr shekhawat, is everything okay.? "

Nirman asked eyeing Randhir who just entered the conference hall, without a coat on.

"I guess so.

Wese aap kya kar rahe hain.? "

Randhir asked noticing few certificates in his hand.

"vo kuch nahi purane cerificates mil gaye the bas wohi dekh raha hun.

You know Mr shekhawat, ye company mera dream tha bahut mehnat se banaya hai isse.

Afterall dreams pura na kar sako toh vo life hi kya. "

Nirman chirped thoughtfully.

Randhir kept silence over his words then nodded absentmindly ,while Nirman continued.

“bahut saaal laga mujhe apni team banane me,i’m happy they are able to keep themselves up here.”

“so apko lagta hai apki ye dream project apki team kar payegi.?”

Randhir narrowed his gaze.

“yes i’m sure of that.

Jitna maine inn sabko observe kiya hai,inka khud ka koi dream nahi hai toh atleast ye meri dream puri karne me meri help karenge.”

Nirman shrugged ,to which Randhir let out a chuckle.

“i think you don’t know your team that much.

Mujhe toh adhe se zyada yahan dream oriented lagte hain.”

Randhir pointed out ,keeping Sanyukta’s name in his mind.

“no no i don’t think so.

Ab Joy ki baat  lijiye,vo actually mera ek friend ka beta hai,jisko maine graduation ke baad yahan chance dediya.

He is good but only for office works,no creativity ,no passion at all.

Wese hi sumit aur baaki sab bhi hai,they know how to follow orders ,that’s it.”

“aur umm..Sanyukta Agarwal.?”

Randhir spoke with a lot of hesitancy ,making Nirman’s forehead crease with confused lines.

“sanyukta.?”

“umm yeah. I mean she is sometimes straight forward and you have made her the head of the project that’s why.”

Came randhir’s nonchalant reply.

“oh she  is nothing special ,the usual candidate she was.

Initially jab vo interview ke liye office ayi thi uski grades dekh ke mujhe bhi laga tha ki vo bahut talented hai,issliye maine personally uska interview liya tha.

Phir pata chala grades bas dikhane ke liye ,vo toh utna confident bhi nahi thi uss waqt.

Financialy bahut struggle kar rahi thi issliye maine uss waqt usse job dediya.

Aur raha sawal head of the project banane ka to hi will admit she is good from others ,that’s why.”

By the time Nirman finished his line ,Randhir was staring at him blankly seeming to be lost somewhere.
