On coming out of the car after the call with Zullu, which she zeroed as a waste of time,

her eyes landed near the garden where her sister Ameerah was seated with a guy, a guy Noori knows so well, to be amongst her heartbreakers,

She calmly walked over to them to confirm what she saw and there he was, Khalifa in the flesh warily looking at her as he stood up

"Look who i came over" Ameerah said with a smile and a warning look at Noori

"Khalifa, so it's true, you are back" Noori said with a curve smile,

"You heard, from who" he asked,

"Oh Chatter box Jafar, he informed me just last month" Noori said with a shrug and turned to go

"Noori please, can we talk" he asked in a pleading tone,

"No, no no, am so tired of saying no" she said and headed in as she murmured something about what bad day today is.

After greeting her dad, her mum (step), she had a shower, prayed and dressed up in an A line maroon Abaya that was made up of pure silk and adorned with tiny white stones,

She asked one of her step sisters to escort her for her ice cream and soon the two came out and headed to the car she went out with early,

Khalifa was still around and was in a serious conversation with Ameerah, she ignored them and soon was out of the compound.

On reaching waffles house, she parked and the two entered the building which wasn't filled up, just the way she likes it,

"Am eating both waffles and pancakes today" her sister Ummi eagerly said,

"It's a miracle how you are still slim, but i know you are saving the fat, till you get married" Noori said with a playfull scoff,

They soon placed their order as they dig in, Noori was on her phone,

"Ya Noori, will you attend Mariya's wedding, its this weekend"

"I don't know, i have a lot to finish up wallahi"

"But you promised you will go, we all prefer to ride with you yo kaduna, the driver is boring and Umma keeps telling him to stop speeding"

"I will see" Noori said "but what makes you think Umma won't decide to join us in my car"

"She will never, she says you drive just like daddy, high speed", the two of them laughed, because they knew Umma's drama in a car that is speeding.

"Noori, Noori Tijo" they heard,

"Not again" she murmured,

"Noori, its Noori, Yazeed, its Noori, your Noori Tijo" the voice called to another,

"Noori" the other voice who was called Yazeed asked

Noori put on a fake grimace and turned to them,

"Muneerrrr" she called with a fake excitement at the guy that first call her, a friend of Yazeed, Yazeed a brief boyfriend of hers for some months, also a heartbreaker

"Wow wow" Muneer exclaimed as he sat down in their mist,

"The one and only Noori Tijo" Yazeed mused as he sat down,

Noori took in his features, he was still as handsome as he was when they were dating, infact all the exes she met today, wer looking good as ever,

she lied when she said Taheer look fat, he doesn't, he just looked more kept and handsome, a sign he is enjoying his marriage, and Khalifa, she and Khalifa were always of the same height, but he was a very handsome guy and seeing him that day, he looked more fresh and handsome, a perfect dream guy for the ladies,
